BetterFont is a Chrome extension designed to enhance web readability with customizable typefaces, font sizes, colors, and more.
With BetterFont, you can effortlessly change:
🖋️ Font family (typeface)
💪 Font weight
🎨 Color
🔍 Font size
📏 Line height
📖 Letter spacing
✨ Font style (e.g., bold, italic, and underline)

You can also lock the styling to a specific page, so you don't have to reset it every time you refresh the page!
How to use:
1. Install the extension and pin it to your toolbar.
2. Click on the extension icon.

- (2024-05-31) chandra versluis: I love that it works for everything it needs to work with, but I think it's quite a nuisance to have to open it up and apply the filter to every single new site I go to. It would be nice if you would have the option to apply it to none, a select few, or all sites (or have the option to whitelist and blacklist some sites for this extension), so that you could still have the option to choose which websites' fonts you want to overwrite and which you don't, but I personally want all websites I go to, to have my selected font, and opening up the extension every single time I go to a new site I haven't been on before (which is quite often when reading or researching) is just tiring. I hope this will be added in the future, but for now, I'll make do. Thanks for the opportunity to make things more readable for me
