• (2025-07-01) Nell: Voicy is the best. I injured my wrist and needed a transcription service that I could use with every website and app, and Voicy is the best one I've found. Also, Kourosh is incredibly responsive to any technical difficulties I've encountered and is always willing to walk me through a solution. And finds a solution every time! Very genuinely grateful for this app, and the ease it provides me in my life and business.

However, the free usage is extremely limited, and the extension becomes permanently blocked unless you connect your Google account. The insistence on this feels intrusive and raises privacy concerns—especially since the extension appears to be developed by a single individual. Use with caution.

Instead of manually typing things out as a sales rep, I can be able to communicate with prospects via text and email with my voice, saving me so much time and making my job and my day much more efficient. It's allowed me to be able to stand out as a sales rep at my company, and I highly recommend Voicy for any other individual that's using it, especially if you're in sales.

• (2025-02-25) Oliver Chris: I love it, I was looking for a voice to text app to not have to type long responses to my work team and found this. I think most people don't realize they needed it until they find it lol. It does the job really well and I have tested some other ones but really like that this is looking really clean and it's by far more accurate than all I tested like dictanote, it also works in the chrome new tabs. The founder Kourosh offers personal support and it's amazing to see how fast and available he is. I mainly speak English and French and found out English voice to text is great but French voice to text demanded me to change language settings from Auto-detect to French to get the same accuracy I get when I speak English. Otherwise it was a bit weird. So may be that helps someone. Hope it keeps adding features, because I think there's so much that can be done with this. Thanks Kourosh !

• (2025-01-19) Hilton Wayne Holder: I have been involved in marketing voice recognition systems since the late 80s and I'm talking here about Kurzweil and Dragon Dictate for DOS and even though I have upgraded my Dragon Dictate as the years gone by, but nothing compares to how amazing this voice recognition program is. It is just about perfect and I can't imagine how much time I will save from not having to firstly use chat GPT to fix my punctuation before I ended up with usable text. This is truly a game changer and I recommend it to anyone who wants to stop typing completely.

• (2024-12-15) Florian Shantin: This app replaced 'Dragon Speaking' for me in my work with an unrelated tricky interface. The developer helped me with updates to solve little problems caused by the interface. Better than in 'Dragon', there's no need to dictate punctuation, it does it automatically. Unique terms are learned by the AI after first correction with the keyboard. I'm waiting now for Voicy to work with other browsers, programs and Office Products also offline. This extension is legit. I also spoke to Kourosh about some tweaks that I thought would make a difference and he actually replied LOL - That surprised me. He implemented the suggestions I had. It is worth every penny, as it significantly saves my time and makes my work easier. • (2024-10-05) Pavlo Kravchuk: I am amazed by the sheer power, speed, and accuracy of this add-on. It does exceptionally well what others fail to do, which is recognize terminology outside of common day language. For my purposes, it is amazing. I would really appreciate if this add-on was made into Firefox as well as standalone Windows add-on. I use several Windows applications outside of Chrome, and a standalone version would make my life so much easier. In fact, I wrote this entire review using the Voicy add-on.

• (2024-09-03) CL Cobb: I have used this extension for about six weeks. I've tried other products like it, and, so far, Voicy is the most user-friendly, and it really improves my workflow. I write so many emails in the course of a day, and it helps take the strain off my wrists and my fingers. There are a few learning curves that revolve around using "voice-2-text behavior" in regard to our phones & text messaging vs. the way Voicy operates. For example, you don't have to say the word "period" when you want to end a sentence. I find myself doing that, because I'm used to it. Another thing is, if you pause in the middle of the recording, as you're thinking about a sentence, or sentence structure, Voicy will think that's a comma, and it is a good thing it does that.
