- (2022-07-02) Ray Wallace: This is not a bridge game. The only resemblance is that a pack of cards is used. It is an appalling example of someone who knows nothing about bridge trying to write a program to play the game. The programmer should be told that they are an idiot and have no idea how complicated this game of bridge is. Do not bother playing this game. If you want to learn the game contact a local club and take lessons.
- (2019-09-07) JuneMarie O'Brien: What makes me crazy. 3 of the female players have no clue how to bid their hand. Should not be allowed to play advanced bridge. Ashley, Linda, and Jennifer especially. Honest review, I learned bridge at 25. Now 74. What does everyone else that is an advanced player say here??Juniper, Juno 247 FACEBOOK BRIDGE NEEDS TO ADD A BEGINNERS, MIDLEARNER, AND ADVANCED GAME PLAYERS....FRIG SO ANNOYING. I AM ALMOST A MASTER HERE. LOOKING FOR A NEW BRIDGE GAME ONLINE. DONE. JUNO, JUNIPER. FRIG SO FRUSTRATING..............
- (2018-11-08) Shelley Gibson: Reading the other review is very enlightening. It's very disappointing because it is so fun and compelling but the bridge is terrible! The graphics are wonderful, so it is a shame that no one fixes this game so that it can actually play well. The bids are terrible, and usually stop way short of where they can go. The other players throw out their high cards first, always, it seems. I would be so thrilled if anyone could improve this game.
- (2018-10-11) William Landers: The bidding is untrue. Can't use any conventions.
- (2018-10-08) Gerald “Jerry” Jansen: The app doesn't follow any standard bidding conventions. Partner plays also ignore convention. have the programmer consult with someone who plays bridge.
- (2018-09-22) Naomi Beans: If this were a real table, I'd get up and walk away. The bidding is horrible and makes no sense. If I open with a suit, my partner may bid another one and I might support him, only to find out he had support in my suit. Computers need to be tweaked if people are going to take anything seriously on this site.
- (2018-09-22) Andrew Jamieson: You have to like playing defensive bridge. The opposition gets at least two-thirds of the contracts. It takes 10 or 12 deals before I have enough points for an opening bid. My partner often makes an opening bid with only 8 or 9 points. All three of other players have this strange knee-jerk response of doubling bids of "one." It's fun if you can get past the disappointment of repeatedly having low-point hands.
- (2018-09-20) Steven Wright: this programme is clueless about bridge!!
- (2018-09-12) George & Mary Chenault: I agree with most of the players. I've seen beginners who bid and play better than this. If this is a computerized game, shame on the programmer. He/she needs to learn the game first. So now that you have gotten all these reviews, are you going to do something about it to improve the playing, or does this just become another ignored page on the internet?
- (2018-08-26) Poor bridge game with many errors in play. When stumped it just freezes. Often makes poor plays. Not recommended for anyone wanting to improve their bidding.
- (2018-08-09) Karen Smith: I can't even see the cards my partner is holding, They are blurred. Waste of time.
- (2018-08-07) Alma Dutton: I don't think the players have a clue as to how to bid or play. A waste of my time.
- (2018-07-20) Dave Nichols: The bidding - sometimes bedding 3 or even 2 card suits! The bidding is also a bit passive, responding to a jump raise or jump shift with a pass! The discards - sluffing high cards when the suit is still on the board and might be played later.
- (2018-07-16) suzanne cox: I only wish one could declare conventions for better bidding.
- (2018-07-08) Michael Young: A solid game. If you want flawless software, maybe you should realize that it is a free game and was created for enjoyment and not for high stakes competition.
- (2018-07-05) Robert Baugh: Very good graphics. I like the speed. Robots are true to SAYC. The only thing that I do not like is the bidding block is too large. You need to shrink it enough to allow the player response to be seen in front of the players.
- (2018-06-28) Patsy Clark: It's an enjoyable way to pass time and a little practice. The bidding patterns and play are different from the methods I've been taught.
- (2018-06-23) Savinderpal Singh: excellent game ...enjoyable. Bidding logic can be improved a bit, rest all is really amazing..great effort
- (2018-06-16) Ron Mazur: Players pass when they should bid. They overbid an opening with a singleton. They bid 4 when they only need 3. They don't use common conventions like a weak 2 opening or opening with a 3 preemptive. They pass with tons of points giving up easy games or slams. Software is badly written. Otherwise it's delightful. How about putting some effort into the software !!
- (2018-06-06) sally thompson: It has helped me to be more confident and to play better.
- (2018-06-06) Sandi John Everitt: This app is great for practicing your card playing skills. It is not much of a bidding program, but there are other apps for than. Really good for practicing playimng.
- (2018-05-20) Simon Phillips: Leading with a king is never a good option unlessyou haveonly 2 cards in that suit. the bidding is atrocious, bidding 1 spade and having your partner pass when holding 5spades led by the Queen. having a subsequent bid of 3 diamonds when only having 3 cards in that suit or more but with no honours. this game is frustrating beyond belief
- (2018-05-12) DC Coleridge: It's been 40 years since I played college late night bridge and this is helping me rmember a lot, so very useful in that way. Opponents sometimes do incredibly dumb things and without the human element it is difficult to tell whether partner is bidding intelligently or just random. Sometimes the "same" partner will use a convention that I remember, but other times will bid straightforwardly and there's no way to know which. Still and all, it's fun and is getting me back to counting and having fun, so for me it's a 5.
- (2018-04-30) Freya Hart: The only way you can bid a decent contract is by significantly overbidding to what you guess might be a possible outcome. Your partner's bidding is very odd and often completely illogical. It is very rarely possible to finesse,so must assume that the computer is passing cards under the table. Opponents play terribly, throwing away tricks and making stupid discards of winning cards. I could go on, but it is quite pretty visually.
- (2018-04-04) Eileen Horton: I can't believe how much this game helps me remember cards. Great way to get back into bridge after about 40 years of not playing I was surprised at how quickly I remembered the various conventions and points. Suggestion would be to either allow a replay (for learning purposes) or show all hands around after the game. Also would be nice to have ability to obtain suggestions about how to bid your hand that you could turn on or off.
- (2018-04-02) crubachko: the computer bidding is incorrect, even the opening bid.
- (2018-03-21) Allen Greenberg: good visuals good scoring massive underbidding
- (2018-03-05) Armando Casciati: I am a chiken ( not expert) at bridge... but I win almost every time ... that means this program is not good... too bad !
- (2018-02-15) Svend Erik Laustsen: Simply TOO BAD Players bid and play like someone never know how to play any cardgames
- (2018-02-10) MARILYN VAN SLYKE: can't bid, can't add, can't play anyone who knows nothing about Bridge can win this. No challenge here. Never gets past 2 level. Left in secondary suit. TERRIBLE. Why not redo. I will look for something else.
- (2018-01-29) Tomas Mannion: bidding is incorrect, partner never supports your bid, even though they have the cards to
- (2018-01-22) ashwini mishra: This is wonderful game available except for occasional hang ups when the opposition is caught making wrong calls and a Double is given.
- (2018-01-16) BRENDA Wheatley-Wood: Most helpful app for a beginning player! Thanks!
- (2018-01-13) Herman Rummelt: This is a well constructed game. I haven't played bridge for a long time, and this a great instructional course.
- (2017-12-31) Paul Bechtel Jr: Too Slow
- (2017-12-29) Joseph Tambornino: As so many have noted already, the bid and play programs are so elementary as to be laughable at times. In addition, it does not score vulnerable correctly, nor does it provide the bonus score correctly when one side wins two games to none. If these things could be adjusted, this could be a good place to practice. Otherwise: alas.
- (2017-12-26) Paddy Richards: The bidding sucks
- (2017-12-10) Allen Wainwright: Waste of time .
- (2017-12-07) Joseph Fiege: it is obvious the compter cards are stacked againt the players They alwase win a notrump bid. and they are taking hands in error We shoud be able to verify the hand.JC PENSACOLA FL.
- (2017-11-12) Samuel Bennett: room for much improvement, such as: 1) show all cards at end of hand, 2) poor defense, and 3) poor bidding
- (2017-11-09) Jack King: All the bad features have been discussed...algorithm needs many changes!
- (2017-11-08) robert schechter: Great game for beginner.
- (2017-10-29) Harry Reichenberg: I read all comments. Nothing positive, all negative but helpful to me because I just started and enjoy the game. harry reichenbeg
- (2017-10-26) Allison Blair: really poor bidding. Never rebid a good suit. Don't draw trump. Jump-shifts with a poor suit and few points.
- (2017-10-20) It is fun. I did not know how to play bridge and always wanted to learn. This has been a decent tool for me to learn how to play with my neighbors. At least when they are trying to teach my something, I know what they are talking about.
- (2017-10-15) Barry Mactaggart: Worst computer bridge game I have seen. Graphics are good.
- (2017-10-10) Liz Serpa: I have to agree with other comments. The only way to get a 4 card trump is to jump to it because your partner robot always passes. If my robot partner opens and I have the suit I'll zip it to the top before I get passed on.
- (2017-10-04) Nancy Carlson: Who ever wrote this program has never played bridge.
- (2017-09-30) Peggy Philbrook: It's all been said. I opened a heart and partner bid 1 spade. He had 5 hearts and 2 spades in his hand. They make mistakes a beginner wouldn't make. Bids that are standard (4 NT asking for aces is taken for a bid and passed!). Very, very frustrating. I love bridge and would love a good game to play.
- (2017-09-20) Gil Weiss: Hardly better than nothing.
