Image from store Jamstash
Description from store Jamstash - HTML5 Music Streamer Imagine you can stream all your music from home, to any device, where ever you are. That is Subsonic! Now imagine having a Web App to stream your music that is as beautiful and well designed as it is functional, that is Jamstash! What? * HTML5 Music Streaming App for your Subsonic server * Archive.org Browsing and Streaming of Live Music Features * HTML5 Audio with Flash fallback (provided by the jPlayer library) * Flexible Layout (will scale to whatever size your browser window is) * Keyboard shortcuts (back, forward, play/pause, skip to artist, media keys) * Playlist support (create new, add to existing, delete) * Podcast support (includes description field on hover) * Favorite/Starred support for Albums & Songs * Shortcuts supported * Easy installation (Chrome App or manual install) * FF/Chome support (IE9 works but is a little rough around the edges) * Light/Dark Theme * Last.fm support * Autopilot Mode (click one button and songs continue to play) * AutoSave Mode (saves position and current playlist if you close or refresh your browser) * Built with AngularJS ***Please submit all bug reports & feature requests via the GitHub page*** https://github.com/tsquillario/Jamstash/issues You will need a Subsonic server to be able to play your own music. Subsonic is a free, web-based media streamer, providing ubiquitous access to your music. Use it to share your music with friends, or to listen to your own music while at work. Please see http://www.subsonic.org * Twitter (Release Announcements): https://twitter.com/JamstashApp * Live Beta: http://jamstash.com/beta * Github Repo: https://github.com/tsquillario/Jamstash * Chrome App: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/minisub/jccdpflnecheidefpofmlblgebobbloc * Forum: http://forum.subsonic.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=12 * Donations: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=VMTENRSJWQ234 Change Log inside... ***Permissions** * You will have to allow Jamstash to "Access your data on all websites". This is required because your Subsonic server could be at any URL `http://*/*` or `https://*/*`. This is somewhat misleading, we ask for `*://*/*` access so that developers can make API calls to ANY URL ... we don't collect any personal data and we don't want access to your data on all websites, we simply have to use that permission so developers can use the App on all urls. * I NEVER access, read, modify, store, or transmit your personal data. * If you want to help star this issue: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=158004 License: GNU General Public License version 2 (GPLv2) https://github.com/tsquillario/Jamstash/blob/master/gpl-2.0.txt

  • (2022-04-03) Benjamin Philipp: Broken? Fails to connect to my server. Also fails to connect to the demo server, which makes me think it's no longer working 😪
  • (2020-12-07) Kalle Almqvist: Interface is not very intuitive. All I need for an audiobook player is 3 big buttons. 1 for play/pause and 2 for 15s scrobble back or forth.
  • (2016-01-28) Edwin V: Very nice chrome app. Works well with subsonic ( or Madsonic ). The only thing I didn't get, is how to view the current play queue.
  • (2014-08-09) Nathan Mallamace: Loving it so far. So much that I've ditched iTunes, 100MB of reasons to love Jamstash. I'm not sure what some of the other people are saying about losing settings. This has not happened after full restart.
  • (2014-07-27) Tony McCrary: Doesn't play anything.
  • (2014-07-25) Thijs van Ulden: brilliant!
  • (2014-02-11) Autumn Leonard: I love the clean interface, but there are just too many issues. Often skips, while vanilla subsonic works just fine. Album art issues when files have none assigned. No way to remove tracks from play queue (old MiniSub queue was better). I'll try it again after a few updates.
  • (2014-02-06) Dave Smith: By far the nicest interface I've found for Subsonic so far, but I have to mark this down for now for the following major issue (since the change to Jamstash): - Settings are not remembered after any browser relaunch. This may sound like a pretty minor issue but it's surprising quite how frustrating it can be, particularly when I never suffered an issue with remembered settings before the last upgrade. Beyond that, as I said at the start, I haven't found a better interface for listening to my Subsonic library, certainly not an online solution, but the fallout of the recent updates has been disappointing, and I hope it can be fixed fairly easily.
  • (2014-01-29) Works. Sometimes. Usually losing my settings, so I need to retype it every now and then... Pain. Bring back the old version! ;)
  • (2014-01-23) Momo Ricotomo: I like it but it does lose settings from time to time. Also i think that a shuffle function is sorely needed
  • (2014-01-22) simon alman: App works well but I have to re-enter my server details each time I use it which is annoying.
  • (2014-01-22) Vick Kumar: keeps forgetting my settings
  • (2014-01-16) I loaded it up and I got someone else's login info... I wonder who got my info?
  • (2014-01-15) Adam Turner: Loved MiniSub, but with "upgrade" to Jamstash it constantly forgets settings and won't work when offline even when pointing to music saved on the machine itself (local host).
  • (2014-01-14) Pascal Bourgault: Doesnt remember the settings, making in a pain in the *ss to use.
  • (2014-01-11) Justin Bennett: Have to drop the raiting for now. Since it became Jamstash, it's constantly forgetting settings. Cookie and cache wipes only help for a few hours. Apps become unusable for me. Bummer, as I've been recommending it to people for months.
  • (2013-12-30) Marlen Padberg: Run your own subsonic server? Give this slick chrome extension a try. Looks sharp and works great!
  • (2013-12-30) Andrew Jordan: Yes, please. Been waiting for someone to build a Subsonic client with pure HTML5. Great work, could use a few tweaks here and there but vastly improved over the standard web interface.
  • (2013-12-08) Benoit H: Perfect !!! work as supposed to, fast and reliable. One thing i would like to be added: the ability to save the playlist directly on the server, it is only local, so i don't seem them when i use subsonic on my android.
  • (2013-11-26) Faisal Ali: Love it. Excellent client
  • (2013-10-20) Ricardo Fuhrmann: I didnt hated it. But I am getting XSS error while trying to access my subsonic server. I'm using duckdns to setup a ddns and access outside my network.
  • (2013-10-13) Tzu-Wei Huang: Good App. and there is a bug report: I found that this app can star music correctly, but failed to show starred items. It says: "Albums failed to load, no music"
  • (2013-10-06) Jay M: Awesome! genre based folder playlists are the bestest of best features for retentive peeps like myself who have everything in folders which are first genre based then by artist. Great work. I would like to see more themes and a now playing screen that displays pretty much nothing but art and info on the currently playing track.
  • (2013-09-13) Linus S: Love the interface and the app overall. The "autopilot"-function (shuffle) should be better at shuffling the songs in my library though. Throughout the day I sometimes get to listen to the same songs a couple of times.
  • (2013-09-09) Shane Martinez: Love the setup and the design. Wish you could customize the columns. Shows Album Artist instead of Artist so compilations only show Various Artists. Also wish you could set Chrome keyboard shortcuts to be able to control it from any tab. Otherwise, very nice.
  • (2013-08-22) Johannes Neubauer: Works without a single crash or glitch
  • (2013-08-09) Christopher Gurley: Much better then the web client and will be amazing with a couple of updates!
  • (2013-08-05) José Antonio Bolívar de la Flor: Very good. Especially love the Recently Added and Random tabs. Other players omit them. Should have a better algorithm when randomizing artists though.
  • (2013-07-27) Gabriël Bijleveld: Had a problem with the original web client: it loads the entire file instantly, and then the server HDD shuts down due to lack of activity. It then takes 8 seconds betwee songs for HDD spinup. Minisub keeps the HDD awake by streaming slowly
  • (2013-07-16) Nagakiran KR: Awesome!! Many thanks to the developer
  • (2013-07-15) Stewart Gray: I have only just discovered this interface (from a long time subsonic user). Much better than the default html client - awesome. Thanks!
  • (2013-06-22) Eric Hiller: Great app. But really would like SWAY.FM to work. Still a no go at this point
  • (2013-06-10) Jiwei Li: What a wonderful app! Thanks for providing free.
  • (2013-06-06) David López: Works flawlessly, can't wait for the next mayor upgrade
  • (2013-05-14) Jef Martens: Nice little front end changer. Has great potential, albeit it took some figuring out how to select multiple songs to play.
  • (2013-04-22) Very impressive. 5/5. No issues at all with setup or playing music.
  • (2013-04-18) Pascal Szacherski: Tried it (on a Win7machine so far), loved it. Simple, easy to set up, worked like a charm. I'll try it on my Ubuntu tonight. Thanks a lot!
  • (2013-03-28) Luke Etyrnal: A W E S O M E ! ! WORKS BETTER THAN ANY OF THE OTHERS REMOTE MEDIA PLAYERS/CATALOGERS IV'E EVER TRIED. ONCE SETUP, IT JUST WORKS. FLAWLESSLY. INTELLIGENTLY. (for instance PLEX was PURE frustration... like EVERY DAAP based system)
  • (2013-03-19) Peter D'Hoye: Occasionally fails to connect (web version always works so server is OK), and to be honest, the interface sucks. I want a nice folder view as my music is sorted properly. Web version of subsonic works much better for me.
  • (2013-02-09) Malte Heinzelmann: Works great! Best way to listen to your music library!
  • (2013-02-07) Gildas D.: Works perfectly ! Just a thing to said : great job !
  • (2013-02-05) Jack Finley: Really good, such a nice interface. The latest update made it so that the now playing and chat box cover up information about the track list, which I think was not a great change. Excellent overall though!
  • (2013-02-04) Pedro Casalinho: Cannot "fast forward" playing songs?
  • (2013-02-04) Todd M: Great interface for access to Subsonic - keep up the good work!
  • (2013-01-04) Joel DeVenney: It's missing a shortcut bar button to launch it. Other than that great app. The shortcut bar icon would be nice to have the ability to control music from there and allow me to close the original window.
  • (2012-12-20) Really like this but seems to be missing the ability to set the player to "jukebox" mode. At work I'm using headphones and the laptop output, at home I'm docked at the desk with my subsonic server and want to play the music out of the speaker setup connected to it. Otherwise great interface/app :)
  • (2012-12-18) Lee Z: Really enjoying the simplistic controls and sleek design, highly recommend!
  • (2012-12-08) Great!
  • (2012-12-05) super awesome, the only interface i use for subsonic!
  • (2012-11-29) Abuzer Rafey: The 11/27/2012 version has a bug where the "+Playlist" button is dimmed and can't be pressed in certain situations. When I selected a different song, it lit up but it wouldn't add the song to the playlist I wanted for some odd reason. Other than that, this is my favorite Subsonic stream player!
