Also, it's the only app at my school that I can use for drawing, the rest are blocked. I also love how you can use any colours you want. I've also used this to do a thing where you can guess logos based off of what's shown and have the rest coloured out. Like, what's this logo? It's the Burger King logo but it has the words Burger King erased. So yeah, that's all I have to say. -Dragon

(1st try) EDIT: Changed from 1 to 3 stars, as I gave it another try and got it to actually start through their own website instead of integrating with Google Drive. Currently the most competent feeling program out there, which really isn't saying much yet... will continue testing features as I need a proper vector drawing tool for browser.
- (2015-11-27) I don't entirely understand the hate for this in the reviews so I felt like I should comment. First and foremost you need to know what this is. I use the vector drawing portion of the Web app. It allows me to build very complex vector drawings with much of the same functionality as something like Adobe Illustrator. Now I say "much of" because it is lacking the robust feature set of Illustrator. It also can be a little buggy and it doesn't give you as fine controls or options as Illustrator. Also as far as I can tell the eraser tool in this basically doesn't work at all. A major downside. So why am I rating this at a four star? Because simply put you cannot run Illustrator on a Chromebook. Plain and simple. So to compare the two apples to apples is impossible. If you want to do vector drawing on a Chromebook, this is one of the best ways to do it. Now the major complaint I see in the reviews is price. Yes, to do anything of value with this app you need to pay $10 a month. Don't pay and you get watermarks and you cannot save as vector. That cost is about half of the cost of Adobe Illustrator. Should you pay $20 a month for Illustrator instead? Yes, probably. However NOT if you are on a Chromebook because it won't work. This again is where the reviews keep breaking down. Remember what this is. A web version of a program like Illustrator you can use on a Chromebook or pretty much any computer. If you have a computer you want to use that is capable of running Illustrator. Great go do it. This is a great cloud app alternative not its equal. Also not everything in life is free. Lower your expectations. Now this does have another big limitation in that it isn't an offline Chrome app. The app here just gives you a shortcut to the web page. So as a Chrome app, no, it isn't of any major value other than it makes it easier to get to the page. What you have here, plain and simple, is a vector drawing app capable of running well on a Chromebook. Does it succeed in that? Big time. Is that something worth paying for? If you use a Chromebook and want to draw on it. Then yes. If that isn't what you are looking for then you don't want to use this and therefore you shouldn't go crazy in the comments. Move on. Live your life. I don't work for the company, I am a paying subscriber at the moment for the web software. I don't know that I will continue to be but I have seen value in it for the last few months.
- (2015-11-25) Ed Hume: As a graphics professional I am constantly on the lookout for cheaper alternatives to recommend as replacements for the standard Adobe Creative Cloud offerings - particularly if you only need occasional use of Illustrator or Photoshop. Although YouiDraw isn't as full-featured as Illustrator, it is the best browser-based app for vector drawing I have found. Despite other reviews expressing dissatisfaction, I found that it covers all the basics and wasn't too difficult to figure out - particularly if you have experience with Adobe Illustrator. On my Acer Chromebook the app works flawlessly without the hang-ups or issues others have reported. In my view the main problem with the app in its current state is that it only imports SVG files - meaning if you typically save your illustrator work as .AI or .EPS you won't be able to import unless you convert to SVG first. There are a few browser-based conversion utilities out there, but I would recommend an Illustrator import filter for this app to make it more usable. If that were added the $10/month price would definitely be worth it for the occasional user. Without that feature I doubt it will be adopted by the professional user base it seems it was intended for. Overall a nice effort.

- (2015-10-25) Declan White: The description doesn't tell the complete truth. "Export your design to PDF, SVG, PNG, JPG, etc,." It only exports to those four formats, "etc" is a lie. And you can only export to JPG and PNG with a huge "YouiDraw" watermark, unless you pay for premium.

The key commands are few and made up, no user preferences to save for quick set up, The help tips are nothing but feature IDs. This is Beta testing in its worse form. This Developer team needs to hung it up....they failed miserably. They have the balls to ask for $9 a month for a subscription...for something that isn't worth 9 cents! I rate it "Less Than Zero"
