This simple extension allows you to highlight an 18 character ID from anywhere on your chrome browser, right click and select "Open ID in Salesforce" to open the record. Use your custom domain by clicking on the extension and pasting your domain (ex: https://mydomain.lightning.force.com/) and clicking save.
