  • (2018-04-08) Jordan C.M.: I can't really recomend this as a proper text editor as it doesn't support rich text and diesn't have nearly as many features as google docs but I can't recommend it as a lightweight text editor as the margins, font size and line spacing are all too big so the window takes up far more of your valuable screen real estate than it has to.
  • (2017-11-10) Rocky Kev: It 'autosaves', but roughly. It doesn't save to the file. So If you accidentally hit the 'new page' button while typing your 500,000 word magnum opus, then your last manual save was a few days ago... then everything is gone. Everything else is great. Clean and lightweight.
  • (2017-10-01) Mario Burgard: I would point out a big 5 star review, but there's one issue: Why, the hell, must there be a scrollbar on the right of my words? I really, really don't understand why. I'd pay for a tool, that is able to serve me a truly, 100 % distraction free screen. Nothing else, but my words. Fix it, charge it, I'll buy it.
  • (2017-01-05) Timothy J: I had to come back to give this 5 stars. Best simple text editor for Chromebook. Wish there was more customizations for the color of the background and fonts (like a color wheel), but other than that A+.
  • (2014-10-16) Michael Stephens: No full screen mode; it's reliant on the Chromebook's full screen that, as you know, is not full screen any more. This means that this is NOT a distraction free editor.
  • (2014-10-12) Gerard Brennan: Not much good for anything really.
  • (2014-01-14) Olof Olofsson: Fast! Really responsive on my acer a7. Could use a couple of tweaks down the road, but the concept is really good so far.
  • (2013-12-25) George Willard: Does not do much. Writebox does more, can use Google Drive and Dropbox as well as being free. Writebox can also display Markdown results.
  • (2013-11-17) Brian Bennett: I really like how simple it is. I travel a lot, and Internet access in airports is spotty for blogging. Having an offline, clean editor is invaluable to me. This is the first Chrome app I've paid for, and it was worth the money. Auto-saving to Drive would be nice, but it isn't a dealbreaker for me.
  • (2013-11-13) Joey Lappin: I really want to use WordFlow as my full-time writing app on my Chromebook. It's beautiful, well-designed, speedy, and has a really polished feel that makes it easy to focus on writing. However, the lack of Google Drive syncing makes managing all the text files I have for my novel too painful. I'll stick with the one other solution I've found that offers Drive sync, even if it's not as polished otherwise.
  • (2013-09-25) Liam Frappell: Quite a good app to come out of some startup developers. Design needs work, I think they should add in customisability, and maybe get some more people in to help them. Other then that, good app, a bit to much going on (Not effective use of whitespace, designer or design student needed), but yeah. 4/5, 5 if they fix the arrow staying pointing up at the bottom when the menu opens and make my eyes bleed less. EDIT: They fixed the problems. 5/5.
  • (2013-06-27) Kareem Williams: Awesome app. Works as advertised. The only feature request I have is to be able to save documents to Google Drive.
  • (2013-05-19) Clean and nice on my ChromeBook but: The help link goes nowhere, i.e., 404 Saving to computer does not give me an option to either select where to save or to give the file a name of my choosing; it always defaults to Untitled.txt or Untitled (n).txt
  • (2013-05-17) Incredible! Just what I was looking for, and certainly fairly priced. Thanks!!!
  • (2013-02-28) WordFlow is a simple, elegant writing app that gets out of the way and allows you to focus on your work. I'm absolutely in love with this app. Fantastic work.
  • (2013-01-15) Will Ockelmann-Wagner: Awesome awesome, definitely worth the 2 bucks. The ability to quickly export to .txt is key, and the interface is perfect. It would be 5 stars - heck, 6 stars! - if it had google drive integration like Pixlr, so I could just make it my default app to open text files in my drive, instead of uploading them manually. I would definitely be willing to pay more for that ability.
  • (2012-10-28) Thomas Harding: It is a good app, considering big time developers created it. It has its place within the text editors. I was lucky enough to grab it while it was free, though i still would consider buying it. It has its flaws as does everything in life, nothing is perfect. I can feel its emotional presence, it just flows. When i construct my elegant stories, it motivates me to more. Its a great app and love it!
  • (2012-10-28) Jannis Portmann: Perfect! I love the minimalistic design and i love to write with. thank you!
  • (2012-10-28) Simon Redgrave: Uninstalled :( Needs multiple instance support, basic text editor functionality. It's style over substance at the moment. In particular. while the app looks well-intentioned, it's too slow to be of any credible use at the moment :(
  • (2012-09-25) Daniel Fusco: Needs more dubstep.
  • (2012-09-25) Beth Grew: I love this so much. Profoundly beautiful. 5 stars. ;)
  • (2012-09-16) I've always been looking for a software that can help me focus on the content. And you guys just made it! Thank you!
  • (2012-09-05) Andrew Fadieiev: Excellent. Only problem for Cyrillic characters it falls back to one ugly generic font.
  • (2012-09-01) Dale Davies: Good whilst free.
  • (2012-08-30) Stewart Wilson: This app would be even better if some simple formatting tools like bold or font size were added.
  • (2012-08-23) Matt Smithers: I agree, there needs to be something in terms of customizing options but i can see the potential in this app once more is added and issues are adressed. Solid effort
  • (2012-08-21) Zac Wood: You all suck, this app is great.
  • (2012-08-20) Dave Barranquero: I am very impressed by this app. The smartest thing that the developers have added, or rather removed, is the hassle with procrastination and customisation. The product is exactly what it says it is, a simple and easy to use word processing app that allows you to focus more on the flare of your writing rather than the flare of your font, the spark of your imagination rather than the spark of your page border. The app is exactly what I am after. 5/5.
  • (2012-08-19) Owen: There are no options to customize display. As far as "Writebox" does it all for free and offers more. Sorry. I'm cancelling my purchase.
