- (2014-12-04) V. Autumn Gray Velatura: I have several thousand Google bookmarks that were extremely unorganized and I'd had trouble every time I tried to organize them because I'd not yet found an acceptably-usable app to do so before now (not on android, not on windows XP and later, not on Ubuntu Linux). This app is really useful! I am able to cut and paste folders and individual bookmarks one at a time and place them in other locations in my GBookmark structure. It also allows me to create, rename, and delete folders as well as individual bookmarks. I haven't tried the "open all bookmarks" or "open all bookmarks in a new window" function yet, because none of the folders I'm working with have less than 100-200 bookmarks *minimum* in them yet, if there are any issues using that function when I get to the point that it won't overwhelm my browser/OS (I use Chrome OS, so my browser *is* my OS, and an excessive number of tabs causes my chromebook to lag and sometimes the browser and/or OS will crash if I have too many open at once). This extension is also helpful in managing my apps & extensions in chrome. I am able to quickly disable, enable, and delete apps & extensions in Chrome by simply interacting with the icons in a grid-view window, instead of a long linear list like in chrome://extensions. There are many other functions that I haven't used yet but think it likely they will come in handy in the future... I'll update this review as I test those also. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I can't multi-select bookmarks to perform bulk actions (select multiple bookmarks to perform the same action on all of the selected bookmarks at the same time) such as deleting them all at once or cutting bookmarks to paste them into a single target folder all at once. Another function that would really help is if I didn't have to go back and re-cut a bookmark if I go to paste it and discover that I need to rename or create a folder to more accurately place the bookmark I cut. When that happens, it appears as though the paste goes through (the bookmark appears on the page) but when I leave that folder and come back in, the bookmark is no longer pictured there, and when I go to the original folder I cut the bookmark from, the bookmark is still there as if it had never been cut in the first place. It would be really nice if the "cut" action would keep the cut item in the extension's memory/clipboard until the paste action actually took place or some sort of "cancel cut" button was pressed. Even without those functions, though, it is still the best tool I've found yet for managing my Google Bookmarks and getting them in order. No other tool I've found even comes close in reliability (not crashing in the middle of an action or failing to perform actions) and in functionality (available options that work well).
- (2014-10-15) Sebastien Cadot: Really good app, but also totally underrated... Very useful to chaeck which apps and extensions you're using !
- (2014-05-30) dope. would be even better if more platforms were added, such as dropbox and twitter.
- (2013-11-24) Luca Gentile (Cyclorbit): The concept is good but it needs still much improvements: 1) missing: apps sorted by category 2) feature to move data between accounts storages
- (2013-10-19) Great start, nw bring some improvments like giving the user some control on the settings groupging etc.
- (2013-10-18) Andy Beardshaw: Average
- (2012-12-01) Chonyi Taylor: Has all I need and I can now close the bookmark toolbar, which is what I was wanting to do. Can we have a button for the search bar for quick access?
- (2012-07-28) Drew Killeen: I've always been opposed to extensions and apps that handle my apps, extensions, bookmarks, etc. This is the only one I'll use. It makes it really easy to check many different sites I'm on, as well as easily organize all my apps and extensions in one place. I really enjoy using it.
- (2012-07-26) Marcelino Aguilar Rubio: no es util, todavia. debe concentrar pero dispersa It is not useful, yet. It should be concentrated but dispersed
- (2012-03-06) jose juan isaac taveras: Needs a bookmark folder sharing option :D
- (2012-01-05) BryanP108: Exactly what I need to order my mess of bookmarks apps and extensions! Thanks! BTW can you tell me what does the 'cut' function do in bookmarks? Also, I would love it if I could directly move bookmarks by click and drag and also be able to move them into folders.
