Please update it so it actually works and make an option to hide the floating icon. The floating icon does nothing on any AI site and just looks distracting. And I don't think this actually works properly.

***Cross-LLM memory sync that works — selective autosave, easy setup*** OpenMemory (Mem0) delivers on its core promise: cross-platform memory sync between ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity. Setup takes 60 seconds (Google sign-in, cloud sync enabled, done). Dashboard is cleaner and more navigable than developer-heavy alternatives like Supermemory.ai. Key finding: It auto-extracts facts and behavioral observations without requiring explicit "remember this" commands. In testing, it captured both deliberate statements and contextual details (platform used, actions taken). This is selective extraction, not a firehose — but there's no granular control to tune sensitivity or switch to manual-only mode. Free tier is generous: 10K memories, 1K retrieval calls/month. Retrieval latency is fast (~130-200ms). "Track Searches" defaults to OFF (privacy-conscious). Use case fit: I run Supermemory (MCP tied to Claude Desktop app; Chrome/Edge extension for ChatGPT) as my canonical vault for deep storage; OpenMemory serves as real-time cross-platform working memory. Different tools, complementary roles. Bottom line: Easy onboarding, functional sync, expect some curation. The 3-star average undersells this extension — worth trying on the free tier.

Great concept, AWFUL behaviour. It´s not just that the interface is unfriendly and obscure, never knowing if it´s actually helping you at all. It´s the fact that after typing a few messages while on Perplexity Pro, the interface becomes totally unresponsive, literally taking seconds to be able to TYPE a single character in the search box. That using updated Chrome, with a 5.1 GHZ, 8c/16t CPU. I don´t even want to know what is in the doing in the background to behave like this. HARD UNINSTALL.

It's a great concept, but it's not really OpenMemory as it actually the mem0 API key and not the OpenMemory API key. The memories tap out after 1k API calls, which are chewed up quickly if search activity is recorded. If it really is OpenMemory users would have the option to use it with either the self hosted or cloud hosted OpenMemory API.

Its buggy and doesn't work.

Still buggy, it does not just "work".... please fix it. Also, does not work in perplexity and the button feels glitchy...

It is a great idea with a lot of potential, but I didn't managed to make it work. I tested the extention with ChatGPT and Perpexity and was not able to retrive any memories (a lot of removal/adding back the extentions, reseting the browser and many other things). Via the playground in mem0 site I managed to insert some memories but they were never synced with the extention (it kept showing 0 memories, although when I click on the Dashboard button in it, it redirects me to mem0 dashboard where I can see the actual number of memories). From the videos and guides, it looks lke the the main LLM is Claude and it is used as "source" of memories that can be shared with other LLM.

How does it work? I can't get it to work, or it doesn't seem to work. Not intuitive.

Looks great! Would love to have this extention to work with my Self-Hosted version of OpenMemory too!

Its not working with Perplexity

Awesome

Good extension! But, if it support custom max number of memory in query result (currently only 10 memories), that would be more useful!

I try to use with Perlexity but this extension is not working

Love it!
