• (2022-09-18) Saleem Rana: Despite using Dragon for a long time, I eventually gave up on it. Consequently, I turned back to typing. I eventually improved my typing speed to 65 words per minute. Then, I found Speech Notes by accident. Now I can write thousands of words a day. The free version works well, but the updated, paid version is a writer's dream. You need to speak slowly and clearly, as if you were explaining something to a child. Each word should be pronounced carefully. Few errors occur. Dictating in this specific way works even better than dictating to a secretary.

• (2022-03-06) Udo FFM: Speechnotes can also be used completely differently than planned. I use Speechnotes to enable older deaf and almost deaf people to participate in society again. These people are too old to learn lip reading and hearing aids are ineffective. But the combination of (fast) smartphone and Speechnotes works great, Reading instead of listening and easy to use, the old people love it. The integrated timeout after a few minutes of silence, however, regularly causes confusion (they cannot hear the timeout sound), is it able to integrate a switch-off or setting option? Thanks
• (2021-06-09) Jonathan James: You should slightly revised the website that is displayed on the speech notes online editor page, so that you can make your notes public or private and that anyone can visit your site and view all of your notes as you've written them. Kind of like Facebook, only when I edit using Facebook, unfortunately, when I get past 1K of text, it starts resetting sporadically and permanently erases all my hours and hours of hard meticulous research and work. Especially when I'm typing something that I would have copyrighted. It loses all the data and says in a big black Banner that fades in " something went wrong". And you know you should also bring back the quotation mark. Because I do a lot of quotes in my authored literature. But I'd do anything in order to escape the Facebook reset dysfunction. Thanks a lot for speech notes. It's amazing and I love it. I pray to God that it holds up forever. I wish The Interpreter was a little more accurate, they used to be more accurate before. Something's changed. Maybe my voice is changed a little I don't think so. thanks again. thanks for reading. p.s. i used the original at&t vecos cyberphone software that had a speech interpreter with it and i had to create each word with the editor. so i understand exactly how you made this. maybe you used my tutorial.. but some people still did a lot of work.. you should list their names

• (2019-10-19) Young Turk: The best speech to text app I've ever used online!!! Handsdown!!! Much more accurate than Google Translate, which just totally stopped working on my PC lately, and I've spent 10 hours trying to fix and gave up. 100 times better than the Microsoft Speech Recognition garbage, which I've spent hours training the Speech Recognition, then every word I speak comes out jibberish. Speechnotes doesn't need training at all and the translation is 99% accurate, even with my Chinese accent! If they have a offline app that I can use in any other apps such as Docx or Whatspp or Wecent I'll jump in and buy it first thing! For now I'll just send my donation as appreciation.

• (2019-06-05) Lorraine Treanor: I needed to transcribe a recorded interview. It worked for the most part. The downloaded doc missed about a quarter of the 8 minute recording, but was still a huge time saver. I definitely plan to use it for its original purpose - to record my own notes.

• (2019-04-19) Les Norman: I am amazed, impressed and astonished at how a free app can achieve an accuracy up there with my Dragon 11 which has now corrupted and will no longer work. It's over £150 to buy another basic Dragon program. This Speechlogger app is doing as good a job, almost, almost and I think I will risk buying the Premium edition for £6 and the write on any page edition for another £6. I don't think I can go wrong. I don't know how they do it but I am so happy to have found this program.

Out of the 400 words I transcribed so far I only had 4 errors - and that was mainly my fault for not pronouncing words properly lol. If you need a cool little gadget to transcribe your content, use this first! I had purchased Dragon years ago - not only was it expensive, but it took a lot of time to train it and even then it was shoddy at best. But this little app? You're telling me it's free, I don't have to install some massive program and it's pretty accurate? Sweet! Thanks guys!

• (2018-11-21) Xina Marie Uhl: I'm unable to spend a lot of time typing due to an injury so speech to text is a very helpful tool for me. I've used Dragon dictate for a number of years but it's kind of a pain to train and it often loses what I type or crashes on my computer. Not to mention the fact that it's very expensive. This tool is excellent. It's not perfect so you do have to go through the text and correct various things but it has helped my typing production extensively. I paid for the premium version to support the makers of this great tool. I do have one request though. As a writer, I have frequent use for quotation marks. Please include those on your next update!
