Windowed Calendar for Google calendar is a stand-alone application for accessing your Google calendar. This application is meant to simplify using Google's calendar as your main calendar client without getting it tangled up in your browser windows and tabs. You will have a separate dock icon / taskbar icon. You can pin them to be quickly launched. Switching applications alt-tab / cmd-tab will easily spot your calendar client.

- (2021-03-12) Joe B: Works fine as a no-frills calendar. Would be great if it included the bookmarks bar and extensions bar at top, like the web version. I like to add emojis to my events and you can't do that in this version.
- (2020-03-15) LaChalle Shay: The font is too small. I can't figure out how to make it bigger. Is there a way?
- (2019-08-11) Sunil Kapadia: one of the best app i was looking for, would be nice if dark mode is available as well thank you guys
- (2019-04-23) Adrian Hoban: Thanks, love it. Very helpful to have a clean *standalone* calendar. Is it possible to have a dynamic date, or does it need to stay on 31? Possible to have icon color choices? Not a fan of the blue. But those are tiny quibbles. Thank you for creating and sharing :-)
- (2017-08-06) Ethan T: Why would you have see through-numbers? At least allow the option to have it white or black instead.
- (2017-04-04) Nino Di Stefano: love it.
- (2017-01-21) Amber Duby: i have low vision and could not increase font so ill just stick with in through the browser bc i can edit CSS
- (2016-12-16) Todor Vasilev: Love it!
- (2016-09-01) Theodora Føien: The app works perfectly fine, but my issue is that this function is already provided for by the official Google Calendar app here in Chrome Store. Therefore I would recommend other users to use the official app instead. There you can toggle between windowed and docked mode. In you Chrome apps overview within the browser, right-clicking the icon and selecting "Open as window". This does the exact same thing as this app is achieving, only you can toggle between the two different modes.
- (2016-08-02) Alexander Hardy: After sunrise got shutdown this was the next best thing that I have found for a google desktop calendar solution!
- (2016-06-24) Xiaoyu Xiao: Works well.
- (2016-01-15) Christian Simpson: Clicking map links from this calendar leads to an "Aw, snap!" error page in Chrome. Clicking the exact same map link from within the real Chrome loads the map correctly without a creash. Icon too big and old, and window looks a little ugly with the gray title bar, but it works in principle.
- (2015-11-19) Lei W.: need offline support for a 5 stars! keep it up! thanks.
- (2015-09-28) Vic Brown: No real advantage. What I need is to see two or more Google calendars at the same time.
- (2015-08-10) Jen Jenson: So happy to have a standalone quick opening calendar! I'm also very happy to not have to have it interfaced with a 3rd party application. :) Just loaded it. So far, so good. Will update again later if need be.
