Localhost shortcut for development

Description from store
This is a shortcut to Localhost with a port option. Nothing special...just something useful.
Once installed, the server icon will show up as an app on your New Tab apps page, making it easier and faster to access your local development environment. If you need to change the port, just go to the options from the Extensions page in Chrome.
v1.0.4 changes the default port from 3000 to 80. (thanks richard-parnaby-king)

- (2016-03-09) Richard Parnaby-King: Love it. Does exactly what it says on the tin - a shortcut to localhost on your chosen port (default is 3000 for some reason, but very easy to change). Will give the extra star if default port is changed to 80 and create multi-instance/port version

- (2014-08-15) agosto bloj: great app. easy concept, brilliantly executed. the only suggestion will be to optionally have it next to the url address bar, so I have to make 1-less click to reach it
- (2014-07-12) Bob Cauthen: Great app! I'm not sure people understand how useful this is. This app is a great way to create a quick and easy "Web App" using a chrome window with no URL bar along the top. This can make your site (or whatever is running locally) look (somewhat) like it's own application. Thanks for putting this in the store and putting the source on GitHub.
- (2013-12-06) sdfg sdfgh: cool, but the default should be port 80
- (2013-10-02) Rehan Azher: Will be an excellent resource if possible to create multiple shortcuts.
- (2013-08-23) Alvaro Guevara: DOES NOT WORK ON 3000 OR 80
- (2013-05-18) R E: Love this, I use it every day. I have one suggestion, if it's possible it would be nice to have the ability to create multiple launcher icons or some other way to launch it with various port numbers. This would be useful for those of us who run multiple instances or multiple frameworks locally regularly. Thanks!
- (2013-03-20) David Sanchez: Loved it, really useful the port is a nice detail.
- (2013-03-12) Jon El: Neat little shortcut for those of us who really like custom icons
- (2013-01-30) Ariel Voskov: Does exactly what I expected it and wanted it to do
- (2012-12-12) Bryan Cutkelvin: @Kamil W - I dunno - Save port number works fine for me. Well its nothing more than a shortcut; it's a little gimicky but fast and effective. Really cool to show someone the first time when you have your tomcat up and you click the icon. I like it :)
