• (2025-04-23) CMP: I love using this app, so it was so disappointing to have received this notification today: ChromeOS • Warning • 2 m • Google Drawings "Support for Chrome Apps will end soon. To learn about your options, contact the app developer or your IT support team." The notification didn't provide any suggestions as to what we need to do about this. If support for Google Drawings is pulled, does that mean I will no longer be able to use it? Also, are there any other apps that are comparable?

• (2024-03-21) Yancey Brumfield: I had the Crome plug-in that allowed me to use it on my Mac. That is no longer the case. I think it's quite ridiculous that you have to use it there OS. I have documents I would like to access. Disappointing.

I would also like this app to be compatible with tablets and Apple pencil. This would be a huge plus for me since I like using Google Drawings for simple table layouts.

• (2022-10-31) Henry Clifton: Don't get me wrong, this is a great app. There is a problem though. This problem is that there is no menu like docs, slides, keeps, sheets, or forms. The menu that is included with those apps are very helpful for browsing your drawings that you have made with google drawings. If this app would have a menu like those apps that I listed, this rating of 3 stars would change into a 5 stars. Please change this :D I would also like a way for users to use a pencil or paintbrush tool for custom shapes unlike scribble that auto completes the shape that you draw. That feature I really don't like for that exact reason even though sometimes it could be helpful...

• (2022-02-28) Osabie: I liked the app. I liked how you can create, insert and edit drawings with Google Drawings. I do dislike how the app because, there is no support for Android nor Samsung. This is needed so drawings can be edited on a mobile device's as well. I would not recommend the app for anyone who is super artistic. I also hate how you cannot color on this app it's called "Drawing's" so you should able to color them. I hate the scribble a lot it sucks every time you you let go of the screen/mouse it's going to make you click on the scribble again. I would not download this nor use it. I only give it 2 stars because it's helpful school.

I also want to open a LibreOffice Draw document .odg with it, but it is not offered as an option to "Open with." Any suggestions? How do I open a Google Drawings document? Or better yet, use it to open other "brands" of Draw documents?

• (2021-05-25) Paul “ScubaMan-1970” Neem: It's not as feature-rich as Visio; however, as long as one is comfortable with Google's TOS... it's a very handy application (works well with ChromeOS... and Win10... its iOS version can be a bit buggy).

• (2021-02-08) Emeraldy: It is very simple and easy to use. I heard that people complained about the rounded outlines. If you want pointy outlines, select a shape, go to format, then go to borders and outlines, then go to line decorations, and select Miter Joint.

• (2020-10-14) A D: You can make pretty shapes and you can write! I love this app its fine if you can't draw its still fun so I wanted to make shapes. And it was so beatiful I use it when I do work but still it is bad because of spending data! I do not like this app at all thats why I do not use it that much hope you don't like the app. I do not agree with people doing five stars that is why I did three stars and I do not like launching things like google drawings. And the title has drawings and wheres the drawing! Guys this app is crazy about this!

• (2019-12-08) Running Hoove: LOVE THIS APP!! I had no idea it existed until I stumbled across it looking for a solution that this app perfectly filled. It's extremely useful for charting, diagraming and explaining complex layouts with simple pictures, lines and interconnected elements. I recently used it to develop a topographical rollout proposal for a 54 camera security system for a legal, state-compliant tier-2 cannabis producer by importing an image I created using my drone from 400ft above the farm and placing icons and lines where surveillance technology will be deployed. The proposal passed state compliance requirements and physical security system rollout begins soon. Very useful Google-drive connected app IMO.
