Linkover – preview links info on hover
Description from store

Linkover loads the link in the background when you hover it, gets all info about it and shows a nice tooltip over the link. It contains page title, thumbnail and short description for many pages over the internet. It's a great approach to preview links before visiting them.

Linkover was created as a solution to the problem when some sites truncate long titles of the link titles, putting the obnoxious "..." at the end. In some cases it can totally prevent you from understanding the content of the page without clicking it. It could become especially painful on websites like Google Search and YouTube.

Linkover provides several options to prevent unwanted link loading, including domain blacklist, whitelist, and requirement of modifier key pressed (enabled by default). It can also load link info on long left click instead of on hover.

Great tool! Works really well I would just like a few tweaks for it to be perfect for my needs. I would like the option to show the full URL on have control on the max characters shown of URL. It could even be so that if the URL is too long, then it would "scroll" left to continue showing the rest of it. Something else I noticed is that the "Show only when modifier key is held" doesn't work. I would suggest having this options Off by default since most users will just assume the extension isn't working because they aren't informed they have to do that once the tool is installed. Thanks for creating this. I hope my suggestions above get implemented :)

Awesome idea - just a few things: 1. IDK how risky that is but risk could be quite high I guess 2. it's super slow 3. Doesn't show a lot apart from the title description
