If you want to be in control of your Azure DevOps customizations, this extension will help you to get and overview of these on field and workitem level.
This extension analyses Azure DevOps fields and workitems, generates a matrix between these and exports the matrix to Excel.
This matrix gives you an overview of which field are available on which workitem. It also gives you an overview of custom field in your DevOps project.
When you open the exported fil, you will only have simple formatting in Excel.
If you want the look like one of the pictures below, do the following 4 steps in Excel:
- Format as a table (use ctrl+a to mark the full table)
- Add filter on the header line
- Change text direction on column C and onwards
- Change colums width on column C and onwards
