Description from store If you’re never sure when’s the best time to use your frequent flyer miles, this is the tool you’ve been waiting for! Points Path is the first award flight search engine that runs directly in Google Flights, and provides both the cash price and points price of every flight in a search. Using Points Path is easy. Just install the extension and then search for your trip as you normally would with Google Flights. In addition to getting Google’s regular cash results, Points Path adds the points or miles price to each flight, and then lets you know which is the better deal for each one — cash or points. ✈️ MULTIPLE FREQUENT FLYER PROGRAMS ALL AT ONCE ✈️ When two or more frequent flyer programs have availability on the same flight, Points Path lists all of them. Just click the "i" info icon under any points price to see every award that's available for that flight. Points Path also shows you which bank credit cards can transfer to each program. And if there's a transfer bonus available, Points Path will show that too. ✈️ BOOK AWARDS DIRECTLY FROM GOOGLE FLIGHTS ✈️ Once you’re ready to book a flight, click through to the normal Google Flights booking page, where you’ll find the option to book directly with the airline using your points, right next to all the usual cash options. ✈️ GLOBAL COVERAGE AND LIVE AWARD DATA ✈️ Points Path works for both one-way and roundtrip searches, and on domestic and international flights across our covered airlines and their alliance partners. All points and miles data in Points Path is retrieved live from the airlines each time you search, so it's the most up-to-date pricing info available. ✈️ FREE EXTENSION COVERS ALL THE MAJOR US PROGRAMS ✈️ The free version of Points Path covers the frequent flyer programs of American, Alaska, Delta, JetBlue, and United, and has all the functionality described above with no limitations. Our upgraded Points Path Pro subscription tier also adds Air Canada, Virgin Atlantic, Emirates, and Qantas, with more airline programs to come. ✈️ ADVANCED FEATURES IN OUR PRO TIER ✈️ With the Pro subscription tier, you can track prices and be alerted by email when a points price goes up or down, as well as turn on Delta Amex 15% discount mileage pricing in Points Path. You'll also get a 7-day points calendar on every one-way search, access to our Lufthansa First Class dashboard, and more. Points Path is an all-in-one solution that ensures you’re always getting the best deal for travel, no matter how you pay! Questions? Read our FAQs here --> https://pointspath.com/#faq More questions? • (2025-06-11) Sonja Key: Easy to download and started working immediately! What more could you ask for?
  • (2025-06-09) Marina Sanders: I am excited about this. The few negative reviews here seem to me more like "operator error"
  • (2025-06-02) Andy Reese: Fantastic! This seamless integration of award options is what's been missing from Google Flights. It's a game changer.
  • (2025-05-31) Pat Little: This is great! The Chrome extension provides very valuable information to an already great platform (Google Flights). WHat a wonderful ay to make travel planning easier!!
  • (2025-05-30) Becky McNiven: When searching for flights, especially international ones, it's so helpful to be able to compare not just prices but what flights offer miles. It's so easy to use! Thanks!
  • (2025-05-26) Frank Schlaurer: Useless
  • (2025-05-23) Timofey Kopmar: I have been waiting for an extension like this for years. Super useful. Love it!
  • (2025-05-17) Joe Yerardi: Points Path is a very good service (even at the free level) but it would be great if it offered the ability to filter to only non-basic economy fares (Google Flights should also allow this).
  • (2025-05-07) Lakshmi Prabhakaran: I am new to this extension. So far, I am happy with how it gives me a glance at whether it is a good cash deal or how many points I need to book the flight. Would love to see more airlines in the lineup
  • (2025-05-07) Julian Mark Kheel: Hi, it's Julian, the CEO of Points Path. Google doesn't provide a space for service updates, so I use this permanent review to provide any service info. All service is currently operating normally. Thanks for using Points Path!
  • (2025-03-27) Jeremy Driesen: Super handy to quickly see money and points in the same search results. Would be even cooler if they could add the match on cents per point, but very happy to have it as it is!
  • (2025-03-14) Venetian Park Condo 2: i dont want to see this it keeps popping up and i have tried to disable it. not needed nor wanted
  • (2025-02-22) Lillian Martin: Can you add Austin to the Luftansa First Class availability?
  • (2025-02-14) Kyle Venn: I really really like this extension. The only thing I think it's missing is an actual computed value for points-to-cents. The meter is cool, but I'd like to actually see the concrete number of points (could even be buried in the info button). For example, there was a United flight for 15,000 miles that cost $580 with cash. This is 3.8 cents per mile which gives me a numerical value I can can use to compare to the 1.5 cents/mile baseline with the Chase card. Anyways, great work and loving the extension so far!
  • (2024-12-10) Daniel Olmedilla: Very promising and potentially helpful, though giving access to google.com (instead of google.com/travel) and access to a localhost URL is sketchy. Would update my review to 5 stars if those two were updated (no localhost, and not requiring my full google URL tracking which includes my searches)
  • (2024-12-09) Colin Shaw: Wow this is a fantastic extension. Super neat to see the detail, it loads quickly, and, while I have a slightly different "value per mile" i might apply in my head, the transparency and ability to see all this data in one place is incredible!!! For those on the fence (or who might have read negative reviews)...USE IT. IT'S GREAT. And the other reviews seem to be "user error" based on how simple these actions are. It's so easy to use!
  • (2024-11-30) Brooklyn Heist: Excellent
  • (2024-11-29) Alison Baxter: After closing down my browser and taking a break from trying to figure out why there were no points showing on my flight searches, I re-opened, did a flight search and a spinning circle appeared where points are supposed to show up. The only points information I received there was: "Airline program not yet covered by points path", "could not load data", and "not available w/miles". Now I see that there is a paid version so it may be that I need to pay before this works. Not unusual for most apps. My mistake for not seeing it and realizing it before spending so much of my time trying to figure it out this afternoon.
  • (2024-09-24) W Lau: Unlike similar extensions, this one does not work unless you create an account and login the extension into the account. It looks like a data mining tool trying to benefit from Google Flights' popularity. In today's security sensitive world, it makes no sense to provide them your email for merely doing some searches.
  • (2024-09-13) Liam H: This is a fantastic extension. Beyond the search function, it's incredibly helpful in recommending whether to use points or cash. I'd love to know more about the criteria they use for these evaluations. If they expanded to include more reward programs, I'd definitely consider making a donation or purchasing a premium version. Great work!
  • (2024-09-01) Peter Moran: the feature I've always wanted
  • (2024-08-28) Ed Paulsen: Great concept. Has now become the single most annoying plug in I have. Pops up EVERY TIME that I search flight on google flights. 95% of the time I use google flights I am NOT looking for award flights. Deleting it. Just not worth the high level of annoyance.
  • (2024-08-20) Brittany Ouimette: I just downloaded and found the chrome extension super helpful in my search! This is so cool, I'm glad I found this tool.
  • (2024-08-19) Abe L.: Too many notifications. Not to mention the annoying massive red error every time i search multi city
  • (2024-08-19) Toby Okonkwo: Great idea, but unfortunately does not work. I installed and uninstalled and installed again. I also tried all the tips and steps in the FAQ section of the site all to no avail. Great in theory but unfortunately didn't work for me in practice.
  • (2024-08-13) rzak: helpful, clean looking tool, 5!
  • (2024-08-13) Oliwia: This is awesome! The design looks really cool and clean 🔥
  • (2024-05-22) John Tierney: Elegant and very useful tool - Love it!
  • (2024-05-20) Jessie Mahoney: I LOVE Points Path!! It has good capabilities now but looking forward to what it offers in the future with multi cities or adding more airlines!
  • (2024-03-12) Noah Little: This is a really excellent tool, and the UI is so simple. The only thing holding this back from 5 stars is expansion to more airlines and internationally (and specifically, Aeroplan). Hope to see more added soon!
  • (2024-02-21) Thomas Wu: I really love the feature. I hope that the extension would also add alaska airlines award flight pricing too. Also I would say that a fair bit of people in the points and miles space will own a Delta credit card when booking a Delta award flight, I would love to see a feature or an edit that allows me to only see the Delta award pricing after the credit card discount.
  • (2024-01-28) EJV Communications: Giving you a five though I would see it as in Beta phase. It does what it is supposed to and that is a great time savings feature. As a frequent flyer looking for "deals," I have numerous ideas. One, more accurate when people select 1 bag for Economy searches as that is what rewards tickets are tied into, and not Basic Economy. Plus when you search BE, some of these awards won't show up (AA). The big one for me though would be to figure out a way to populate the 60-day window with lowest points when someone clicks on the date to see lowest prices during the 60-day window. Lots of potential. Keep going. Love it.
  • (2024-01-23) Mr. Nguyen: I like it so far but hopefully it expands to more airlines soon. One thing to improve on: most searches on Google Flights show basic economy price but miles/points prices are for Main economy, especially with AA. Did you factor this in when you recommend "Use Cash" vs "Use Miles"?
  • (2024-01-22) Drew Macomber: Good.
  • (2024-01-20) John Cunningham: It's cool idea but never works. When I find a flight with acceptable miles costs, it always leads me to a "Cannot process request" error on the United page when going to book. All other options available are the same price as regular United site so no real need for this extention because it isnt saving me any miles or money.
  • (2024-01-19) Mike Payne: Loving this. Already has been so helpful and great to see more airline options showing up!
  • (2024-01-18) Nikhil Lal: What a great tool! Game changer!
  • (2023-12-20) Danny Garcia: Wish this were around when I was traveling like I used to and before the mileage redemption went crazy. In any case it is a nice add to google flights! I like seeing the cash v. miles, but the miles are currently only showing per person even when putting in 2 or more passengers on google flights. Keep it up!
  • (2023-12-20) Bryce Skarda: Really good starting point here. One thing I noticed is that the miles are just standard miles and if you have a premium credit card, the points to not align. For example -- Flight from Denver to Orlando has a flight for 15k, but with my United Card I get an additional 10% off. It might be good to clarify that the points is just the base value. In future versions I'd love to see an option to select which credit card specifically you have to get the absolute correct value.
  • (2023-12-20) Angelica Angelo: I've been waiting for something like this for forever!! This is going to change the game for travel hacking and save SO MUCH time! Can't wait for this to expand!
  • (2023-12-04) Paul Dolinar: Wow once this expands to more programs this could replace many alternative points searching tools I regularly use, and save me tons of time doing parallel points and cash searches. Instead, I could just do one search on Google Flights with this plugin! Add Aeroplan next, please!
  • (2023-12-01) Daniel Clark: A great extension that is intuitive and is a great alternative/addition to seats.aero
  • (2023-11-15) Cara Burrell: This is genius! It is a ridiculous time-saver and so efficient. Very easy to understand and lays it all out so you can easily make a choice AND make the purchase or redemption. Love it!
  • (2023-11-13) Ben Hruby: Within the first couple hours of having this extension I booked 3 flights with miles that saved me a ton of money. One flight was over $300 and I would have never looked at it but with this extension it showed me that it was only 7500 miles! This is a game changer!
