Description from store
At last it is possible to create a mind map as individual and easy to imprint on your mind as one drawn by hand on paper. The mind maps you create with Connected Mind are even better as you can easily include images and shapes and you have a whole rainbow of colors and a selection of fonts at your disposal.
There is no limit to the number of maps you can create and you can store them in the free cloud storage provided. There is no need to create an account. Simply sign in with your Google or GMail credentials and your maps can be stored in the cloud on a google database.
Once stored in the cloud, you can access your mind maps from any computer that has Google Chrome installed.
You can also take you mind maps with you wherever you go with the Connected Mind Android app available from the Android Play (http://goo.gl/7oBhK) and the iPad app available from the App Store (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/connected-mind/id659803223). You can open and edit any of your maps created in Chrome on Android or iOS, and vice versa.

- (2015-02-21) Arthur Lamotte: READ FAQ ++ It's nice that you can edit quite easily and deeply notes. -- Dealbreaker : you can't easily access what they disneyly call "the cloud" which is another name for "the place were your data is kept hostage"
- (2014-11-09) Вадим Волос: Branches like a tree. Make a branch to have the start they were thicker and thinner at the end.
- (2014-09-30) LOVE this and would even pay for it if it included some extra features - the ability to share with others, bigger maps. Really happy with this. So colorful and love being able to draw lines, make links, create notes etc...
- (2014-07-04) New version is superb. I really wish Google eliminated bad reviews of previous version
- (2014-05-29) Lyv Zimny: Biggest thing for me was choosing to edit the SELECTED bubble and then it reproduces another bubble that is COMPLETELY different from what I edited it as; also wanted to get rid of the default color scheme of purple the first time your bubble is made, but that clearly is not an option. Got frustrated and uninstalled it.
- (2014-03-23) Nhan Bach: Feature "Add branch" very stupid. Very difficult to use
- (2014-02-02) Hugo Capocci: not a good one.... nodes are not automatically connected, no interest..
- (2014-02-01) Generally ok but does not really work with large maps. I tried multiple ways to port my map from the free version to the bought version and that did not work. I tried to send myself a copy through GMail to port into bought version that did not work either. Export Import seems unreliable.
- (2013-11-09) Graham McCormack: Not bad but too fiddly to be able to brainstorm with.
- (2013-10-24) Simon Redgrave: Excellent and very usable mindmapping app. Syncs perfectly with android version and allows you total freedom to share and edit quite complex and nuanced ideas wherever you are. Haters must want to doodle, not mindmap :)
- (2013-10-20) John Buxton: Spent 10 minutes struggling with this and gave up. Far too difficult to use and an unwelcome distraction when you're in the middle of a thoughtful or creative process.
- (2013-10-13) Fernando Henrique: Worst!!
- (2013-06-04) shift click to end line? don't like this.. I should be able to draw a line and connect to other sub topic and stop the line where the mouse stops/ clicks!
- (2013-05-28) Rick D (Rick MacGyver): Couldn't import Free mind maps so unless to me.
- (2013-05-22) Ørjan Solli: Difficoult to make mindmaps
- (2013-03-20) Scott Ferg: not as intuitive as i'd like
- (2013-03-15) Pat L.: I fell upon this gold nugget of an app when I was roaming the Chrome Store to find something helpful for taking notes and keeping track of all my ratios (for accounting) and I couldn't be more pleased with Connected Mind! Easy and fun to use, I feel bad that I didn't even pay a penny for this app. Thank you Keith!
- (2013-03-05) Kacy Kostiuk: Kind of confusing and hard to use. Seems like it has a lot of possibility, but it has a sharp learning curve, and I'm not sure I have the energy to invest the time to learn it.
- (2013-01-12) Michael R: Despite watching the intro video several times I could never get this thing to work. Shame, because it would have been a useful app.
- (2013-01-01) no name: terrible interface,
- (2012-11-28) Jacob Prince-Bieker: It is okay. It is a nice idea, but what is frustrating is that the size of the mind maps you can create is small, I couldn't expand it all the way that i wanted to. The interface is somewhat confusing, but the cloud syncing works well. Also, you can not change a mind map and save it as something else, or at least I couldn't find a way to. It is a neat idea, and I like the drawing aspect of it, but it needs to be a little simpler to use, and be able to expand the mind map to as large as you want it to.
- (2012-11-21) A. J.: nothing is free! they take what you do here... :)
- (2012-10-11) Allie Tutt: Not too straightforward to use. The lines are frustrating and the colours a bit too... colourful. It'd be nice to have a theme throughout the map. There also seems to be limited space. Had to uninstall, too hard to use.
- (2012-10-09) Jeremy Case: Was not very efficient to use.
- (2012-10-02) Curtis Thornton: Overcomplicated
- (2012-09-23) Matthew Lyte: Many great ideas, but poor usability. It's less of a mind mapping application and more of a tool for drawing lines and creating shapes. You can use it to make mind maps, but its' not specialized for doing so in any particular way. I would pay for the android app and use the web store version as well with only a few simple usability updates, such as the ability to make branches with fewer than 4 points, or the ability to "lock" a branch to a node once placed. I've been searching for a complete android/windows mind mapping solution, and this is by far the closest I've come to one without a recurring subscription cost, or paying in euros. PLEASE update and improve this, and I will pay even more for the android version.
- (2012-09-07) Eric Z: My favorite mind mapping tool with roll-over functions that strangely no other mind-mapping tools have. Also there are more line color thickness etc options than most others. There is NO automatic linking of subjects or objects, this is on purpose so that you must make the link in your head. Otherwise the program is doing it for you - not the purpose of a mind map really (?)!
- (2012-08-07) Henrik Pettersson: Large freedom, but at a price. You can make any mindmap you like and have it looking as you like, but it will take longer than many other mindmap-apps
- (2012-07-31) Andy Kurzweil: Nice app, fun to mess around with once you get the knack of it. Very free form. However: I highly recommend reading the FAQ and watching the four minute video before you try making a mind map. I could not figure out how to make a simple branch until I did. (The trick is to shift-click to end the branch). I gave it 4 stars because it does not seem to be up to profesional quality. Good nevertheless, it's free!
- (2012-07-23) Roland Finger: Nice try, but very poor usabilty. Strange functions (why would I want to add a branch?) and strange keyboard shortcuts. I woudn't want to use it in my every life... (I use xmind a lot which I like, but unfortunately they dont offer a chrome or android app.)
- (2012-04-25) Carlos Javier Domínguez Navarro: It doesn't work for now
- (2012-02-20) Ekhard Seesselberg: lacks automatic layout and connections beween nodes and branches. For me entirely useless. Direct uninstall.
- (2012-02-01) I have been trying all mind mapping software and apps. Connected mind is by far the best.
- (2012-01-11) Tiago Silveira: Great visuals, but lacks the keyboard shortcuts that make apps like Freemind awesome.
- (2011-11-29) Interesting concept but frustrating to use. I've spent the last 20 min attempting to use the app but was unsuccessful in performing the simplest task of adding a straight branch to a node. Complete waste of time...
- (2011-11-26) Jack Z: The tools have minds of their own -- the user interface really stinks compared to the free mapping/drawing software available on the internet.
- (2011-10-25) Jon Lemich: This app is very annoying to use. It's neither an easy quick sketch app I can use to organize my thoughts for a draft; nor a professional, slick-looking graphic design program to create mind maps for presentations or publications. It's somewhere in between, which is its biggest flaw. I would appreciate explanations on how to do things in the toolbox for doing them. Some things I can do in MS Word mind maps are absent here. The nodes don't automatically connect to other nodes, you can't use an outline view, font and style are limited... I'll just stick to PowerPoint, Word, or just drawing my mind maps by hand. Like most people, I only use them to organize ideas in a draft/analysis/brainstorming kind of way, so I need my mind maps to spring forth in an easy to use, quick to use, simple, and easily editable way. For a software program, I'm interested in creating a professional graphic, and even the sample mind maps in the app are not very slick looking.
