- (2019-04-25) John Lorz: Clearly the developers stopped development 10 years ago on this. It never gets better. Bots playing Ada, Einstein and Grace are so poorly programmed that they have tried to play nil hands with the Ace of Spades as well as having KQ Spades. Isn't it apparent to the programmers that you can't play the nil hand successfully in those instances? And there are many, many more. FIX THE BUGS AND LOUSEY ALGORITHMS!
- (2018-03-15) RK Schley: Spades partner on expert needs to be much better. I rarely miss what I bid and my AI partner almost always pulls bags or busts.
- (2018-03-02) Forrest Sweasy: Computer partner's logic for playing with a nil partner is STUPID and flawed.
- (2018-02-28) Kim Sykes: why do you program ada to trump in with the ACE of SPADES instead of saving it until later to protect its partner whom has gone nil??? first trump should be with the lowest spade in ada's hand when its partner has gone nil!!!
- (2018-02-26) Deena Walker: This is by far the best Spades game available! The only criticism I have is I can't play this on my iPhone.
- (2018-02-23) RoseBill Blagdon: If you cannot program this game to be more realistic by having the computer play like a normal player that knows a bit about cards, you should remove it or find someone that knows the game.
- (2018-02-18) Doreatha Harvey: love this game ilove to play with all of them remind me of bid whiz
- (2018-02-15) Bob Schotta: Kills me at the expert level my partner throws a high spade when ive already been covered on a non spade hand when going nil..
- (2018-02-15) Mark Hoyt: GREAT! Play three games a day: Spades, Sudoku $ Bridge. Best way to start my day!!
- (2018-02-13) Debbie Allen: love the game
- (2018-02-11) MARILYN VAN SLYKE: cAN'T BID cAN'T PLAY -- No planning. You can't lose. Wish we could get an interesting game going. Computer not smart enough
- (2018-02-11) Ryan Johnson: It's not how I play spaces. It serves as a way to practice and as a way for a beginner to learn to play. I wish that it had jokers and that spaces could be played at anytime not just when you need to cut a suit. I play spades with people who are excellent players which makes the game challengeing and also fun. The order of the spades are Big joker, little joker, duce of space, A, and so forth. When all bids have been made and play starts, trumps can be played first, which allows you set up the other suits in your hand and also to set your opponets, and win quicker and easier. Extra bags/books aren't counted. If you bid 7 and make 10 you only get 70 as a score. Also, it would be fun if you could select different players from the computer. The players who are partner with me have a tendency to set me their partner, they don't count the cards nor do they watch what cards I'm playing when I bid a nil or double nil. Also, I would like to be able to look at the books when the hands are played because sometimes the player cuts the card when they have the suit thus setting their partner. I play this a lot but would prefer to find a spade game that is more challenging and that trumps can be played at anytime not just to cut with and then they can be played.
- (2018-02-07) Randolph Loney: Ada is not an expert player, she bidded 7 and was throwing off and only made 5 books, so we got set
- (2018-02-07) MikeChillardsFun78: i can win game but dont like the pause and the slowness at all every hand.but Bots play better then people from Spade Plus on covering Nils because at Spade Plus you get partners that are setting you and they know they playing 3 on 1 and throwing game. if this was so much faster like Hardwood Spade it can be so much better , and i like to have stats against computer that will be nice , sick of people think i suck but wont play me live stream or post video up from Spade Plus to prove they not cheating .
- (2018-01-25) Mohinder Singh Nottay: fixed by controller for his/her desired results. eg last player can trump the trick with minimum value and not the highest.
- (2018-01-23) Robert McMahon: The graphics are very good, the play is where I have a problem. 1. I bid nil and my partner cuts a heart play with the Ace of Spades. Doesn't hold on to it to cover any high spades I might have. 2. I bid Nil, end up having to play a spade on a club lead and my opponent covers my spade with a higher spade when he didn't have to. So not very realistic partner or opponent play. Rob
- (2018-01-22) Jerry Milton: I have caught this game cheating on numerous times. Thats it, I will quit playing as of this day. The programmers are a bunch of real jerks. IT IS ONLY A GAME!!!!!
- (2018-01-08) Ronnie Peterson: ronnie peterson loves this game
- (2018-01-07) Eric Lauch: why does ada make his first cut with the ace when im going nil would be nice if youd hold back to cover me
- (2018-01-06) Glenn Morris: Ada belongs in beginner spades. Please fix her.
- (2018-01-03) David Burns: Algorithms do not play to how it actually played. Will take extra tricks when not needed and give tricks up when it could set other team or needed to get bid. Pretty much sucks and is not how real world spades is played.
- (2018-01-02) Patrick J. Mele (Dillinger): best browser UI for cardplay
- (2017-12-16) Tia Duncan: ADA is too bad to play expert. You never know what she is goi8ng to do!
- (2017-12-13) Scott Davies: Nothing like bidding a nil and having your partner break trump by laying the Ace of spades. Comical coverage and that was Expert?
- (2017-12-02) Mrs. Danna Barganier: Am Good,Ms.Danna
- (2017-12-02) Susan Adams: Without a backup feature, I feel like I just graduated to a real Spades game. Loved it!
- (2017-11-30) Steve Rimnac: This is a good computer spades game except the opponent Ada is programmed to lose when played at the highest level. I notice that I bid a zero on a hand I almost always get a 0 and Ada almost always loses her hand. This is just the opposite of how bidding a zero usually goes in a game. My experience is that the other player almost always wins their hand when their player bids a zero. I think this would be a easy programming fix and I do not know why this is programmed in.
- (2017-11-15) Joseph M Martellaro: When I choose 'Expert', it would be nice if my computer partner also played at that level. Ada is sooooo stupid. Can't bid. Lets hands go by that she should take. Doesn't trump when GIVEN the play. What idiot programmed these idiots? PS - I have taught programming at the undergraduate level.
- (2017-11-06) BH: program the computer to follow a nil play. For example, don't over play the opponents high card when they would otherwise be set. Also, don't have the bot lead with a low suite or keep playing a suite when the partner and the bot are the only players with the suite during a nil and higher cards have not played.
- (2017-10-29) Ronald Theodore: It's of for beginners. Expert players NEED Help..
- (2017-10-25) Andre Laplume: ada s//// and needs to be removed
- (2017-10-10) Allen Fluckey: Worst programming ever!
- (2017-09-30) MARGARET HARDWIG: Fun and easy.
- (2017-09-27) Teresa Boswell: 1st my partner is all over the place when they bid. 2nd cheating is occurring during the cover throw spade one hand and they follow with an off card the spade you throw they throw a higher spade when there way to supposed to be out of such cards. 3rd game is just way to iconsistent up and down and all over the place. please try to make game bettor by not allowing computer too rig game.
- (2017-09-11) Michael Headley: Easy interface with minimal system lags. Thanks!!
- (2017-08-29) ken brady: its me against the computer it switches sides to much and becomes pedictable and ada needs a bang on the head
- (2017-08-23) Erin Thompson: Bids 0 - plays A spade. What BS do you call that?
- (2017-08-20) Floyd Holmes: I agree with the other reviews, Ada is a real bad player and should not be on the Expert category. It truly ruins the game. Other games like Hearts and Bridge revolve the players, yet Spades, a very popular game, does not revolve their computer players. How about giving the players a break and change players in the Spades games to make the game more enjoyable. Come on 247 you can bring better programmers to this game. Many thanks
- (2017-08-14) Keisha Williams: Their is no skill to this game and the partner can't really play. The computer has been programs to sandbag instead of biding the hand. The game is not a one star but that is the lowest I can give it.
- (2017-08-06) Viola Brooks: i love it
- (2017-08-05) Stephanie: Should be advertised as good for beginners. Haven't tried "hard" level yet.
- (2017-08-03) Bob Andrews: I agree with the first two reviews I read. Can't say in a thousand words how incompetent the program is. Don't get me started. You programmers need to get a life and program a decent game. I mean when my partner and I have both made our bid and my partner fails to set my opponent's nil bid ... well truly bad programming indeed. Go back to programming school you guys. Get the drift. There are better beginners out there than your expert program.
- (2017-07-29) Sbstelecom Sbstelecom: I like the different levels, but when the opponents don't make their nil bids, they don't add up their scores correctly. Other than that, not too bad.
- (2017-07-25) Niagara Remodelling: not bad; but it's most often like I have 3 opponents on any level that I try. I find John to be a little better programmed than Ada. After reading a bunch of reviews, it's obvious that the programers have no desire or, possibly the skill to fix the issues.
- (2017-07-21) Gary Lee: I think our partners learn to play by the way I play. Ada is skillful bidding and making bid. Problem is when he is covering a Nill play...it almost always chokes making its bid. I have learned some very skillful tricks maneuvering our opponents in bidding from Ada. Overall, he is a good playing partner.
- (2017-07-20) mike spencer: could teach a mildly retarded stump to play better than the ai , the programmer who designed it must be on crack
- (2017-07-13) Gary Dodson: Bidding by opponents seemed conservative for te most part. I enjoyed playing against the unknown.
- (2017-07-12) CHARLES MORAN: This is a Good Game.
- (2017-07-11) Bonnie Branham: The play of the cards is not true and my partner either sandbags or underbids. We make our bids because I've learned to bid to accommodate my partner's bad programming.
- (2017-06-24) Noreene Farwell: cogradulations you have finally learned how to win without cheating (a lot) at expert. Ernie
