Type Fu is a Chrome OS app that will teach you how to type fast, the right way.
• UNIVERSAL. The app is suitable for all age groups and skill levels. You can be a beginner, intermediate or advanced typist. Even if you took typing classes before, but it never sank in, the app will help you refresh your skills and take them to the next stage instantly.
• PACKED WITH ENGAGING EXERCISES. Type Fu is fun to use! Exercises vary from simple letters, numbers and words to proverbs and quotes of great thinkers of the past. Basic exercises are generated programatically so that you will never see the same exercise twice.
• MULTIPLE KEYBOARD LAYOUTS. The app can be configured for use with any European or American keyboard layout such as Qwerty, Dvorak, Colemak, Qwertz or Azerty (including regional variants).
• ADAPTIVE. Type Fu is smart: when you are making an outstanding progress, it can automatically increase the level of difficulty to keep you on your toes while improving the skill.
• VISUAL AND AUDIO HINTS. The program assists in a non-obtrusive way. Various indications of hitting or missing the right keys are helpful, pertinent, don't get in the way and can be disabled.
• FULLY INTEGRATED WITH CHROME OS. Get the top-notch user experience. The app supports HiDPI displays, works offline, and updates automatically.
• PAY ONCE, USE ANYTIME AND ANYWHERE. The program does not require recurring payments and constant network connection unlike most online tutors.

- (2022-01-21) Tom De Leon: because it gave me good accuracy
- (2019-12-31) Ricardo Barbio: Great app! It has exactly what I was looking for, the ability of customizing the layout. For the ones like me, who are learning an unusual layout, it's perfect. I am learning colemak mod dh, so I just selected the regular colemak and made a few adjustments. Besides that, I really like the fact that the exercises are always different.
- (2019-09-01) j m B: I am oldish and it hard to learn new tricks. At long last, I decided to learn to touch type or try to learn. I need to type at work but I have fought this for many years. But i have surrendered. I have previously paid to go on an evening course to learn to touch type . But the most cost effective tool I have used is this app. Repetition , Repetition is the way for me to learn, great app. I recommend this app.
- (2019-06-06) Marjorie B.: I paid for this and am not able to use it. It does not appear as an app or an extention for me to access. When I do get to access it I have to get it through history. This maybe a chrome issue, but there is no way I can tell. I only know I can't use it.
- (2017-12-17) Akmal Irfan: As a person who code, this app taught me the right way to type and that is really helpful
- (2017-11-17) Shaik Shamsher: This is the best app to learn and increase your Typing Skill. Great app...!
- (2017-11-03) Ben Ayala: I tried different apps, and this one was the ONE that helped me get to my goals. Not only that, but it has some addiction to it that drives you continuing using it more and more to get better at it.
- (2017-10-04) RUTH KRIEGER: As a writer I really need this workout. My only question is why would I have to "buy" when I have a subscription?
- (2017-09-03) Alberto Barbaro: Hi, super cool app but, if possible, I would like to have a graph where I can see the speed chart and accuracy chart at the same time. At the moment I can see my WPM increasing but what about the accuracy? :) What do you think? Thanks
- (2017-07-13) Timothy Hirabayashi: I think that this app is really helping with my speed and accuracy! I definitely intend to spend the little money for this tremendous app! The exercises are short enough to experiment with rhythm and posture to try to improve speed and accuracy. I like that I can repeat an exercise that may have letter combos that cause me problems, so I can improve.
- (2017-06-14) Denny Chen: Super helpful. This app provides ways that really help to improve your typing skill.
- (2017-04-18) Lee Choy: Good ! easy to learn and use.
- (2017-02-22) Zac Mc: it is amazing but the only problem is that you can only use it on one device or you have to pay for it again..
- (2016-11-11) Usama Shaukat: One of the best Chrome extension.
- (2016-11-01) Christian Barkholt Muller: Love it! I can simply open it and start typing on the appropriate level and progress naturally. - You might want to adjust the speed required for moving on to the next level if you're a beginner (in preferences).
- (2016-08-17) Resistor Rob: Doesn't launch. I can't use it. All my other Chrome apps work perfectly.
- (2016-08-16) Ly Duong: Simply amazing, worths every penny (too good to be free) + simple, user-friendly interface/design, not like some other apps that take a while & effort to figure out their routine + available offline - create shortcus/download on multiple keyboard-devices & practice anywhere + tracks your speed & accuracy on the 1 day that u practice (not in long-term of several days, i think) + automatically increases difficulty level when you pass certain typing standards (which you can adjust) + offers exercies for (meaningless) letters, numbers, words, (popular & cool) proberbs, quotes (which as a non-native English speaker I find fascinating & all the more addicting)
- (2016-08-15) Iris Burne: really bad for children
- (2016-08-14) スアラ Suara Siy: THANK YOU Type Fu @Type-fu.com
- (2016-07-11) Donation Coordinator: I've been needing this for so long! I'm so glad that I am FINALLY learning to touch type! I'm in my late 30's and never knew!.. Can we say "long overdue!"

- (2016-05-03) Excellent!!
- (2016-04-10) Alyssa Sipes: This is not a long trailel and I typed the right ones and it told me wrong and my friend had the same problem
- (2016-03-26) Jordan Stanaflini: The sounds you guys have in here are incredibly obnoxious - I know I can turn them off. In that case, offer to play any sound the user chooses. Pressing ctrl+backspace should clear all typed chars or whitespace (either). It would be helpful if actual sentences were displayed instead of conceptually unrelated words. It's alright, but typing applications have been like this one since about 30 years ago.
- (2016-03-11) Lucy: It is Great. Definitely suggest it for beginners I used to be bad now i am good
- (2016-03-02) Ivan W: great for offline typing practice!!
- (2016-03-01) Tucker Grondahl: By far the best typing application I've used. I haven't tried them all, but I've tried many. I average somewhere between 95 and 105 wpm, but I felt like I hit my ceiling long ago... that is until I tried Type Fu. Most typing games seem like they are trying to trick you or outwit you, but Type Fu is somehow different. You will naturally become better as you go without even consciously noticing that the lessons are getting more difficult every step of the way.
