- (2022-05-15) Randy “Randbo” Metcalf: Don't know why I was charged $9.99 for this app. I did not purchase it for one thing second it's not even launched in the chrome web store. I guess I am getting charged just to have it on my laptop. I was shocked to see a charge on my bank statement that I didn't know what it was untill I web served the name that the charge came from and it brought me to this site. So the point is why would I rate this app with any stares other than the one I had to just to vent for me being ripped off $9.99 So there it is. NO RATINGS JUST A THANK YOU FOR WHAT EVER THIS $9.99 BOUGHT ME.
- (2020-12-10) Mandy M.: Hi there i just bought this but would like a refund please.
- (2019-10-18) Sheepdogvalley #203: I absolutely love this Chrome App. Boxy SVG has been the best vector graphics tool I've used, and there are tons of them out there. Boxy is truly a simple but comprehensive, easy to learn and use tool for creating some pretty astounding graphic art. Suggestions: The UI could be a little more aesthetically pleasing and I wish there was a dark/night mode, but those are the only suggestions I have. If you are looking for a good, easy, stable vector graphics app, then look no further. Thanks for providing such an incredible tool for us all to use. I sincerely appreciate it.
- (2019-06-24) Asa: Excellent vector drawing app. Great interface and tools. Produces clean SVG. I use it with an EMR stylus equipped chromebook and it works well. Most other vector drawing apps aren't touch screen friendly. I've loaded up some quite heavy SVG and the speed of zooming, manipulating is great.
- (2019-06-18) Adrienne Young: How can I spend ten bucks on this only to be told that it won't be available on Windows later this year and then I have to pay more money? Am I wrong? Please tell me I am wrong. Otherwise I want a refund.
- (2019-02-15) TheLinuxgk: Great replacement for me and inkscape.Anyone know a way to create texture can not seem to find that option.
- (2019-02-12) Joey López-Cotaina: For anything but a Chromebook, I can't say I'd recommend this over a more powerful program. (Though, its simplicity could make it useful for some users.) But for a Chromebook, it works. That's not something I can say often.
- (2018-12-03) Abe Haskins: This is a really great SVG app. I use it for designs and illustrations and it's really smooth and easy.
- (2018-09-24) ktec: I constantly come back to this app to create - I find the simple yet powerful interface easy and intuitive. Love it and always recommend it to friends!
- (2018-06-25) Jesse Pavel: One of the best drawing options available for ChromeOS devices.
- (2018-05-31) James Joy: I've only been using it for a few hours, but I was looking for an Inkscape replacement on my Chromebook and this is great!
- (2018-01-02) I Am Goon: There are no preset path tools. They are necessary because you need them to make perfect shapes.
- (2017-12-11) Trevor Hartman: Simple, powerful, well designed.
- (2017-12-06) Salman Khan: Really like it, however, am a bit concerned whether this will continue to work on Ubuntu systems going forward as its being retired for Chrome App Store? Guidance from dev would be helpful. Thanks
- (2017-12-06) Leonid Naumov: Very good svg editor
- (2017-12-04) Temoshee: Works great compared to Inkscape which is out of my league.
- (2017-12-01) Joe Todd: Love this app! Just the right amount of functionality, clean and concise, and gets the job done!
- (2017-11-04) Ahmed Alejo: I was able to dismantle a complex svg app screen made by a designer
- (2017-11-03) Jason Farquhar: Very nice app.
- (2017-10-23) Paul Barnwell: Really good app. Was looking to create some simple SVGs for a side project I am working on. I am no artist and have no experience/skills in other large mainstream applications such as Adobe/Corel/Inkscape etc. This did the trick perfectly as it was very simple to use, and the interface was intuitive.
- (2017-09-19) Josef Ježek: Awesome SVG Editor. Please version for Linux Ubuntu.
- (2017-08-13) Dmitrii: Good app
- (2017-07-29) Isaac “Ike” Ah-Loe: Very good! and easy as pie to use. Not as featureful as something like inkscape and illustrator, but really something amazing when you think of what you can do on the web or chromebook. (Fixed by developer Jarek) Heads up: launching with light grey blank UI in current dev channel of Chrome OS
- (2017-07-25) Denis Rudov: Thank you so much!
- (2017-07-24) Natt Oliver: Garbage. Started out by inserting about 12 "Enter Text here" text boxes ever time I tried to click on the document. Then proceeded to move a line from where I wanted it to the bottom left corner every time I tried to resize it (and I still wasn't able to resize it). Finally, I tried to move several components at the same time, got them into the right place, and then all but one of the components snapped back to the original location as soon as I released the cursor.
- (2017-07-08) Maker Everyday: Hello, This app is wonderful.Just wondering that "defs" doesn't work for me. Hope can solve soon. Thanks
- (2017-07-03) Robert Sliwka: Cool & simple app to edit/create svg.
- (2017-06-25) Benjamin Brooke (benjaminadk): I freaking love this thing. I keep finding more and more to like about it. The more I learn about SVG the easier BOXY is to use. It just changed its whole look today. Looks like more room for the canvas. Is there any other upgrades or just looks?
- (2017-06-22) Cris Fuhrman: Found this because Inkscape is a kind of Frankenstein tool. I was hoping to get something simple. When I start it up, the text color was the same as the background (so you see nothing). It took me a bunch of clicks to figure out that "Paint fill" is how you change text color! There's no color option on the text dialog :( Also, I spent 15 mins (and gave up) because I can't find out how to reshape a rectangle that has text in it without reshaping the text. I want it to flow into a rectangle. This is not intuitive if you have to Google the question and still don't find an answer. Hope this feedback is useful. I like SVG because it's an open vector-based format for drawings.
- (2017-06-18) Tirith Abrasax: tried inkscape, ms expression and lot others. and must say that this great work even with few things what could be solved better, this is still best and most used tool for work with svg and vectors for web, Thank You man, good work ...keep working :o)
- (2017-06-10) Marcello Ribeiro Salomao: Loving it! Amazing UI and UX! Thanks for making this free! Do you take donations?
- (2017-05-20) Amelia Wende: Not at all like Inkscape! Very simple designing is possible, but it seems impossible to even round corners. Some users seem to like the program, I cannot find any tutorials or tips within the app to even try to understand it!
- (2017-05-06) Emmanouil Pourikas: Thank you very much!!
- (2017-05-04) Best 3D design application for chrome OS and Chrome web store!
- (2017-05-02) Ning Cao: good
- (2017-05-01) NotThe “Not The Fixer” Fixer: Not sure why some reviewers are having issues opening or saving. Works great on an acer r11. Super clean and straightforward UI.
- (2017-04-03) Mark Douglas (SafetyRabbit): Does exactly what it says it does. Really helpful with the inspector open if you're learning to write SVG, was precisely what I needed at the time. Thanks!
- (2017-03-15) Fabrizio Fiandanese: Saved my day.
- (2017-03-15) Netalizer Dev: I love it ❤.
- (2017-03-13) Jared Gray: didn't work at all.. couldn't open a file, couldn't create a new svg - totally broken.
- (2017-03-04) Chuanjun Sun: nice
- (2017-02-11) Ravinder Ram: good editor
- (2016-12-18) Austin Pierson: Truly one of the best SVG editors on chrome, period. (or two) Only thing I wish for is more export options like pdf, and automatic object aligning. Other than that, truly fantastic.
- (2016-12-15) J Vp: i work with drawings and must frequently move sections around. the first task i tried was a group of 300 relative paths grouped with an x-axis translate. the 'ungroup' stalled despite only needing to update 300 initial x-moves. there was no progress meter or anything ... just a dead app. obviously, not ready for any serious work. when this app gets "there", the layout is clean and will probably appeal to many levels of expertise.
- (2016-12-07) Thomas Mckenzie: Awesome app! If you need something to quickly edit SVGs, this is a great tool.
- (2016-12-07) Pierre Bertin (glihm): Easy to use, very nice interface, just perfect! Thanks!
- (2016-12-03) Mahfuzul Islam: Very clean and easy to use interface. Works smoothly in my mac. I am thinking of using it as my main svg drawing tool. Waiting for more features including pdf export.
- (2016-11-25) Dame Dragonfly (Dame Dragonfly): I can't open an EPS file? How the hell am I supposed to edit and compilate graphics I buy in EPS form? SIGH...
- (2016-11-15) Carl Revell: Clean, easy to use SVG editor. I used to use Inkscape but have switched over to Boxy SVG because it has all the tools and controls I need for creating and editing SVGs that I need as a Web Developer and IMO is more logical and has a better UI than Inkscape (which is still a great tool though). Worth 5 stars without a doubt.
- (2016-11-13) Excellent! Even for a frequent Illustrator User this does pretty much close to what I do daily. This is my new sidekick app on my Chromebox.
