Inspired by GNU Emacs "Artist Mode", I developed this app mainly to provide a similar but handy way to create ASCII Art -- you only need to "draw" in your browser, and ASCII Artist will do the resting.

- (2012-10-16) Jofre “Joe” Steele: Interesting, but I don't know if I would call it ASCII because it's selection of characters is so limited. The app runs offline which is nice. It basically allows the user to draw using a MSpaint-like interface, but everything comes out using characters like you would expect. Unfortunately, it's just not a wide variety of characters.
