Not only is it easy to learn world history but the app makes it fun too. An excellent resource.

And the writing and in-depth looks are awesome too.. so much condensed it let's you piece everything together. The different levels work great. I simply can't believe it's free! - (2013-01-20) Thomas McKearn: This has potential, but the POV is fairly skewed toward a western perspective. No Native American cultures are mentioned except for Aztec, Mayan, Incan...nothing about regional tribes. Ancient Britain wasn't worth a mention until the Romans showed, ancient, medieval and even modern Ireland is ignored. This is a fair beginning, but much more might be done.

I would love for the interactive part to be more smooth and for the big map to have more details rather than having to go deeper every time I click on a country. It's very slow even with a fast connection for me. Keep up the great work and more details on the history would be great, like money banking backers behind WWI and WWII and other atrocities.
