• (2017-07-20) Neil McDonnell: Hands Down Best programs for PDF management. I've been using them since they were a basic web based application with only PDF compression offered. They've year on year added tools and improved new ones. I would seriously recommend signing up for a subscription as then it really becomes a power house of an app. You won't regret it.

• (2017-06-05) Em Sawyers (Color Box Media): This application really is stellar! Over the years I've used Adobe Acrobat Pro to compress files and more so recently an app called PDF Squeezer. However, they couldn't squeeze my 8.2MB resume past 5.1MB (and it looked awful at that.) PDF Compressor squeezed it down to 2.1MB with better results (like almost no discernible artifacts in images & text) than the 2 previous paid options. I literally said "wow" out loud when I saw the result. :)

I also never ran into any issues with the quality of the compressed PDF like with most, if not all, other services. I rarely pay for subscriptions online but this was a no-brainer. It seems to be crippleware, because the web page where you drop a file for compression says "You have 2 / 2 files left for free". That implies a very small "free" window of use. Pricing is $6/month for, I suppose, all not free versions.

Just upload the file and bam it converted 2 of my massive 10meg+ files to 200Kb each. Totally saved me while I am traveling with only my Chromebook and needed to get these PDFs sent out fast. Keep up the excellent work folks. You have an AMAZING product. IMO this should be built into every Chromebook!!! :)

• (2016-04-29) Paul Foster: Misleading about terms. Has only monthly subscription option if wanting to compress more than two files. Works well, but should really have an option for intermittent users.

I used in the past to good effect, but as of 04-20-2016, they suddenly only allow 2 pdf docs to be reduced, like some game - e.g. Candy Crush - you wait ridiculously long or else you pay. They never disclosed this prior to my installing onto Chrome. Basically - Bait and Switch. Will look for another program - even pay upfront for an honest program and will uninstall this one from Chrome. An effective program - IF all you need is one or two files reduced. Not useful for a project in other words.

• (2016-04-14) Lynne Goodwin: I love the app and would give 5 stars for performance. However, I do not love that they went from free (with options to donate) to a paid subscription without warning. Had they communicated clearly what they were planning and in a way that made it easy for me to prepare for, I wouldn't dock the stars. Feels bait-and-switch to me now and I am hesitant to send money to folks who operate that way.
