• (2022-08-29) S AS: I used to love this extension for downloading videos until a few weeks ago when it stopped working. On every video website now says it doesn't see any videos. I feel so lost without it.
• (2022-07-24) David Jackson: Within seconds of adding this App to Chrome, it had found my SmartTV (HiSense 5+ years old) and I was able to cast videos. I have paused the video and found it restarts without error. I can cast and still browse and download etc simultaneously. I prefer wired connections for sharing videos and have Powerline adaptors (BT Mini Connect). I wish i could control the casted videos pause via my TV remote, as Kodi on the Raspberry PI can. But I believe that's due to the HDMI connection. Therefore, I will see if there is a keyboard shortcut to pause the stream, when the app is not the active window. System Summary - I have installed Chrome OS Flex on a Dell Optiplex 5040. The primary drive is an NVME and I am using the HDD as a media store. I seem to be coping well with 8GB ram but have 8GB more on order, as I have herd Chrome OS is a Ram hog.

But yesterday i reset the Windows, and it is not working because now the extension is not on web store, i downloaded the CRX file, but it is not not working with the app (maybe not in sync somehow). So please upload the extension because there are no alternatives that i could find, and any user out there knows of a alternative method of casting web videos to TV with DLNA, please let me know.

• (2018-05-30) Jon Hulett: This even works with Kodi. I can cast to Kodi on my 4k Fire TV. The 3rd Gen (4k) Fire TV´s no longer allow mirroring built in, so this was quite useful when I had to give up my Sony DNLA SMP-N200 set top device because Hulu support stops 7/18/18. YouTube ended next year.

I have a WorkVPN with ip 192.168.10.X and my network in home is 192.168.69.X When im in home with VPN connected software dont find kodi. I need to disconect from VPN, search kodi and connect again. On other place where the home ip is 192.168.1.X i dont have that problem.

• (2017-11-14) Nigel Morgan: I have been searching for a media server / dlna controller like serviio for my chromebook. Luckily I came across this on the crhome web store. I can stream videos stored on my chromebook to my samsung tv with no problems. another great this about this extension is that it streams the embedded soundtrack e.g. DTS so I can take advantage of the home theatre sound on my amplifier. thank you for making this available. ps - i have given 4 stars as i think the interface could be upgraded a little.

• (2017-03-31) Jasmine Smith: Hello I am using this application on my Acer Chromebook and I am trying to cast to my Dish Hoppers and Joeys. The receivers do show up and connect to the intended receiver, but it stops playback within a few minutes. There is also limited functionality for the videos (no fast-forward, reverse). The interface is easy to use and navigate on a positive note.
