• (2016-10-31) I miss the original snake on my 16-bit cellphone about a decade ago. However, this game is still nostalgic. I will every once in a while play it over the 'Snake Chase 2'. The farthest I've ever reached was 36 points I think. Definitely a pretty good warm up for any computer activity even writing!

• (2016-09-04) Magnus Fischer: THE ABSOLUTE BEST... Version (for chrome/windows) of the classic "snake" game. The "windowed" mode is still a quite large area, but on full screen the game is really immersive and entertaining. TOP-NOTCH TIME WASTER. On literally COUNTLESS occasions I have opened a tab to "just play a quick round or two then run to the store" and ended up chasing snake food for an hour or three. Totally LOVE this app, nominated for sixth star. & NOT ONLY FOR THE IN-BROWSER VERSION. The developer has made the source javascript code easily available... (link right at the bottom of the app screen...) with it, you can play offline with an EXTREMELY small RAM footprint. Also a "dark" color scheme that's much easier on the eyes, (black snake with a light stripe on a bluish-purple background) and two more difficulty levels to choose from; "Easy" & "Hard." Both are fun, I prefer the "Normal" difficulty, but sometimes it nice to play on easy, to see how insanely long I can get the snake. The "Hard" setting is fun for playing with friends, the games are considerably shorter because the snake is hyper-turbo fast. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. The script is also VERY VERY portable, it can be run from a USB stick, even disconnected from the internet! ***PRO-TIP: I saved the .js file in the main directory of "program files," rt-click->create shortcut, then pin it to the start menu. (with custom snake icon lol)*** I use either the app itself, or the script, several times daily if I'm on my computer at all. Hangouts, YouTube, and THIS game account for well over 90% of my computer/internet use. I would actually die without it. THANKS TO THE DEV(S)!!!!!!
