Description from store

Heptabase is a visual note-taking tool that helps you make sense of your learning, research, and projects. It gets you into the flow of thinking and brings together everything you need for a deeper understanding of the topics that you care about.

Great save quality overall, but easier card title editing after clipping would really boost usability.

Loading forever, not working on my Chrome...

Used to be great. Became very unreliable and extremely slow since 2025.

Spent way too much time trying to make this work before coming here to confirm it in fact does not. Much different than the Heptabase client software quality experience.

doesn't work and tired of being told to send everything through the app when this is a blatant issue they should fix

Installing this from MS Edge - doesn't show anything. Just opens the box below it when I click it. It continues to load indefinitely.

Heptabase is constantly improving their knowledge tool and have done amazingly well given they have only been publicly available since Aug of 2023. This is their latest addition to the toolbox. I know a comment was made about the web clipper not picking up images, and that is true as of today, May 29, 2024. I imagine that it will be just a matter of a few weeks before the web clipper will have the options to pick up text, images, the URL, etc. I'll provide one example that I believe is relevant - about 6 months ago, they introduced "tasks." On Day 1, it was basic. I could create a "task" and that was it. Within days, they added the calendar, then the ability for the "task" to "move" from cards to the journal, etc. They usually don't roll the full functionality out on day 1. They roll it out, wait for some feedback, integrate that feedback, then roll out the next version. The fact that they DO LISTEN TO THEIR CUSTOMERS is the BEST thing about Heptabase. I've gotten a personalized response to every message and suggestion I've sent them and they work with us.

It's only passable, it's basically usable. But obviously the pictures can't be saved, which greatly affects the learning efficiency. and Heptabase's mission ----Make sense of complex topics. Nor does it match. The image itself can make a complex topic make sense. If your team is short on manpower, you might as well borrow the Web Clipper plugin, which has been working well enough for more than five years.
