However, with this particular version the challenge/difficulty lies more in trying to recognize the words that need to be typed on time, rather then having an emphasis on the typing itself. I find the rotating and spinning words rather annoying."

Paul Van Sickle 2014-01-01: waaay too easy for people who already can type. Maybe I'm dumb but I couldn't figure out what to do when the ships come down and say "go now" so I got terrible scores.

However, with this particular version the challenge/difficulty lies more in trying to recognize the words that need to be typed on time, rather then having an emphasis on the typing itself. I find the rotating and spinning words rather annoying. So even though it's called "The Typing Game" the difficult part here is reading the words on time. If the developer of this game wants to have the game be challenging, why not just up the amount of word-ufos on the screen at any given time?

Evan Flechsig 2011-12-29: The concept is pretty good, but the product is buggy. When there are attackers of the same word, typing the word twice doesn't kill them both. The first one dies after the word being typed but then the laser shoots into nothing when it is typed a second time. Perhaps a check to see if an attacker of a specific word already exists before spawning one. If one is there, pick a different word.

James Dittes 2011-11-05: I downloaded the app and tried the "beginner" level, but after my first letter, it failed to recognize all subsequent letters. Too bad, this could really help my kids learn.
