Memo Notepad is a very easy and simple way to write your notes in Chrome. Your notes are saved as you type to your local computer, and you can also sync and backup your notes via the cloud service.
Memo Notepad is just like a real life notepad: what you write on it, stays there. There's no waiting or pressing a lot of buttons, it's as simple and easy as a piece of paper ;) Memo Notepad is a perfect place for your thoughts, email drafts, journals, lists, or study notes.
You can use Memo Notepad offline or online, all your notes made offline will sync when you get back online. You can access all your notes offline. You can search through your notes, and find what you are looking for instantly as you type. You can access your notes anywhere via www.memonotepad.com. Free iPhone and iPad versions are available on the App Store and an Android version is in development.
Tips:
- Change the font and size by clicking your name in the top right (after logging in)
- Select and right click on text on any webpage and you can add it directly to your Notepad
- If you forget your password, guess a password to reveal the 'forgot password' button.
- If you ever run into any issue or your notes won't load, contact support / check the web version at memonotepad.com

Annoying since I had tried signing in without results, directions to use begins with cloud sync in corner? and finally, after wasted time, I saw no ANDROID VERSION!

And if you click on "I forgot my password" in the app, it gives you a little box that says "no problem, check your inbox." But no recovery email ever arrives. I lost many important notes this way. Be warned.

- (2022-09-03) Sakuralin: I like to use this app. but cannot find how to backup my notes to cloud. It says here to go to support for any help but if do that it only takes you to the app!!!! So it does not look like there even is a support. To backup your notes to cloud you have to copy/past to drive....
- (2022-08-02) Luz Lopez De Leon: I've been using memo notepad over a year. It was great, easy to use and I haven't had issues until now recently. I'm not able to login and I've always logged in using the browser and it gives me an error message, "An error occurred in the application and your page could not be served. If you are the application owner, check your logs for details. You can do this from the Heroku CLI with the command heroku logs --tail" I searched to see if other users have had this issue and they did and some even report it over 14wks ago. However I did download the chrome extension to see if it would work to sign in and it says, "Connection to the sync server was interrupted. Try again?" Unfortunately there is no direct support to report this issue. If you are still able to login, I would suggest to send your notes to yourself so you won't lose them. It's upsetting since I had a lot of important notes and now it's gone.

- (2021-09-13) Fred Hoekstra: This program is great! A good place for a daily journal, or notes. I also use this program to type a draft, before I send an email. Once I've checked the grammar, I copy and paste into gmail.
- (2021-03-16) G Natale: HOW TO LOG BACK IN: Unfortunately this only seems to work if google marks the adylitica password as compromised, but try going to your saved passwords, select the adylitica account- it should log you into the adylitica site. Then select security, type in a new password, and open memonotepad in a new tab. Log in with the new password; it should work, but I've run into the issue of, after logging out again, the site refusing to recognize the new OR old password, which means you'll have to change it every time you use it. I'd recommend getting all your notes before you log out, and putting them in a better app like FocusWriter, which saves your writing files directly to your computer- or Evernote, which does that plus syncing with the online site. You should really get this app and like I said its so good. You can use it online or you could download it. Anyway, you should get this app if you need to take notes. Without paying nothing.

I am trying to access some very important data and there is no way to log in once i have run the application using the passwords when you press support you are just sent back to the log in page - absolutely ridiculous - i would not recommend such a horrible app EVER! are you going to fix it????

I keep getting a message after I click 'forgot password' that says an email is being sent. I never receive the email to change the password. Really frustrating as I'd like to have my notes. - (2020-07-03) Mary Milne: I have been using this App on my Chromebook for a few months and it's been ideal for the work I was doing. Yesterday I needed to reset my password to access my Chromebook so I was automatically logged out of the notepad and I can't remember my password. I have tried the forgotten password facility several times now but nothing appears in my inbox and when you click on the support work it goes in a loop back to the notepad page. So essentially I have lost all the work I have done over the last few months which is why I have given it one star. If you are going to use this App please record your password somewhere as otherwise you may find yourself in the same position as I am and when I have read the reviews this morning so many other users have experienced the same thing over the last few years. Hindsight is wonderful but not much use. Don't get caught out!

- (2019-09-30) Molly C: It was great until i power washed my computer, then i realized that i had made on account for the app. but when i tried to login with my email and any password i could have possibly have used it wouldn't let me in. its been two days since then and i did that and i clicked the send email button many times, but i have received no emails. it wont let me re register my account either. i just want to get back into my account and get my notes back.
- (2019-03-25) I thought it would be downloaded into the chrome and when you click on it, it will pop up outside of the browser but it's in the browser. I like that you don't have to sign up, you can just type what you want and just click away from the page and come right back to it. I love how you can pin as a short cut on your chromebook shelf. - (2019-02-02) Richard LaPera: Have been using for years and use it daily, many times. A great help and extremely easy to use. Have never had a problem with it. I keep all the important short things all day that I come across, eg, model numbers. urls, recall notices, directions to things, etc. Also paste copies of things that I want cleared of things that won't paste correctly into emails or other documents first and then recopy and paste as simple note.
- (2018-10-27) Robert Resendes: Wow! Finally! A simple, yet robust, WYSIWYG note pad that synchronizes. Even in its not-yet-Android-ready state, it's better than many of the more "established" note pads on the market. AND, as a Google Chrome extension - it's just one click away from data entry or reading! Kudos to the developers! Dropping a star after waiting over a year for the Android app. Addendum: In early April after re-installing CHROME, I had a login issue. An email to Adylitica was responded to in minutes and my problem was duly resolved. Great software AND great support. Thank you. 2nd Addendum: After 2-3 years of waiting for the Android "sister" App and again experiencing login issues as well as sync issues between open chrome browsers on different machines, I'm sad to say I'm moving on to Google Keep. Shame, I really liked the simplicity and intuitive nature of this software. Best wishes on future developments.

I tried typing all of the passwords I remembered and every time I pressed I forgot it, it doesn't send me a link to reset the password. Developers, please fix this problem, I have data in their that are really important to me.

This one is simple, and does what it advertises. The only thing that would make this better is to have an app in the google playstore for easier synching between my phone and chromebook.
