The Viewport Dimension Overlay is a handy Chrome extension that helps web developers and designers by displaying a clean, unobtrusive overlay showing real-time viewport dimensions and aspect ratio of any webpage.
With a simple click, users can toggle an elegant semi-transparent overlay that appears in the bottom-right corner, providing instant feedback about the current window size and automatically updating as the browser window is resized.
This makes it an invaluable tool for responsive design testing and layout debugging.

- (2025-03-06) Andor Dávid: Thank you. Quite good, but there are a few usability issues: 1. It's hard to read because it jumps and flickers. 2. Use a monospace font-family. 3. Due to the right alignment, the "Ratio" number changes suddenly from two digits to eight digits and back, causing the position of width × height to change as well. 4. Make it configurable which parts should be visible (e.g., I don't need the "Ratio"). 5. Maybe the labels are also not necessary. For me, the following would be satisfying: 800 × 600 ---- I don't know what happened since yesterday, but the layout has changed from horizontal to vertical, and it uses a monospace font-family. Much better. Good job.
