Anne-Marie Robinson 2020-01-23: Spent five hours making cards on Chromebook. Lost them all when I tried to synch my account so that I could review the cards to my phone. Got a synchronization error message and had to pick to either upload/download. All my cards disappeared. No automatic backup history is available for Chromebook version of this app, so there appears to be no way to recover them.
Josh Patra 2018-11-11: I enjoy this app, and I appreciate the developers for creating this on Chrome OS, but seeing as quizlet is a rival to you, you simply must creat a way for us to do Quizlet to Anki, as i prefer working on Anki.

Haeley Thomson 2018-08-25: I'm trying to download Linux to my USB and AnkiDroid keeps blocking the downloader from opening by thinking that the file is meant to be opened in AnkiDroid. This is causing actual problems for me. How do I delete it?

Eric Judd 2018-03-08: I like the Android app (and, of course, the desktop app); I was hoping to be able to use this on Chrome OS and that it woudl be a little more stable than just using the Android version, but the window goes completely black or flickers when I run my mouse over it. I tried resizing the window, but it crashed. I guess I'll just have to use the Android version - I was seriously hoping there'd be more functionality in the web app, but that doesn't appear to be the case anyway.

Caleb Horner 2017-05-31: I was never able to make it work. I downloaded this to learn Japanese Kanji, so making my own is a nightmare, why this is on the app store when it doesn't even work is very confusing. Very dissapointed
__ 2017-05-18: Why is this web browser extension a 200+mb download when the actual program is a 30mb download??? Can't import decks can't do anything... removed. Whats the point with ankiweb available.
Grant Mueller 2017-03-28: works great on my chromebook. syncs with the anki web application. pretty easy to use. night mode is a great feature, kind of wish it was a standard ui feature for all apps!
Brian Colby 2017-03-02: This app cannot open apkg files. It automatically closes when you try to open one. Useless.
Mose Hayward 2017-02-26: Browsing card decks is disfunctional. It's impossible to click on filter by suspended and filter by marked; nothing happens.

Inez Johnson 2016-10-02: Tried to use this in conjunction with a downloaded .apkg file to no avail. Clicking the file to open the app does not import the cards and there is no button within the app for importing. This app is useless. Not sure why it's in the app store if it doesn't work.

Philip John Bert 2016-08-14: Very useful for studying, very fast and simple and great for syncing among different devises. I kinda of wish it would automatically sync much like google docs does. Also, it is harder to see a list of all the flash cards in the app as compared to the windows version. But all in all, a great app and does the job. Rarely crashes.
Holger Christian Heiler 2016-06-29: same as others, I loved it until it stopped working! All other OS versions I have running are fine (Android, Windows, Linux, web-based) but the Chrome app stopped starting. Keep it up, Team!!!

Seth “Saisi” C 2016-06-04: update: I just reinstalled the app after a long time of non-use. I do not open. I just hangs on a blank screen. I hope this problem can be fixed. I'm on an Asus chromebook flip. I just found out this is now for chromeos and I just picked up a chromebook. I'm excited and trying to use this to help me learn chinese. 謝謝！
Anthony B Tompkins 2016-05-14: Application would not launch on Chromebook after install. Do not have time to fuss with it; however, I appreciate the effort developers put into creating the app. Have chosen to uninstall it and go with different flashcard app.
Teresa S 2016-04-03: Glad this is available on chromebook, haven't had any problems with the app. Only question is, is there somewhere where keyboard shortcuts are listed? Trying to find the cloze shortcut in particular.
Matt Culler 2016-03-28: I'm not having any of the basic functionality problems other people seem to have. Having the keyboard shortcuts that the desktop version has would be nice, and for some reason this app sometimes doesn't play nice with the international keyboard layout.

Happy Cat 2016-01-14: the first time works perfectly.. I love it a lot, and I'd rate it 5 stars. It's beautiful and easy to use, I can use all the necessary features (drag audio files, pictures, etc.). But after I shut my chromebook down I won't launch again ever. After a lot of uninstall and re-install, still won't. I make sure my chromebook is up to date, and there's nothing ARC related.

Peter Benisch 2015-06-10: It's EXTREMELY annoying that the app defaults to english keyboard layout when creating EACH new flashcard. So you have to: create new flashcard, click somewhere where entering text, and then write. Extremely frustrating and breaks the workflow completely. Functions like adding labels does nothing. Anki is amazing, but this app is frustrating.
