• (2021-07-01) Liv: I have loved this site for years! But I was taken aback today when I clicked on the extension and was notified by a 404 error message. Went to the site by URL and was extremely disappointed and heartbroken to find out StoryWars is closed for the foreseeable future! To anyone who may be thinking about downloading the StoryWars extension, I am sorry that I must steer you away as the site is no longer running. I will truly miss StoryWars and how it helped me flourish as an author and let my imagination run wild.

Thank you story wars for helping me write and write. I will continue writing and hopefully find another site that resembles your site, which I doubt there will be. The content is fully determined by the quality of submissions/submitters and their relative activity on the site, so the larger and deeper the community grows, the better.
• (2016-08-04) Kathy Downey: I have been with Story Wars for a couple of months now, and would not go to any other 'writing' website.Here is what I love about SW: 1. A sense of belonging to a community of writers with a wide variety of personalities. 2. Direct communication with the developer with an 'always' immediate response. 3. Get feedback about a particular draft that you have submitted and thus become a better writer. 4. Helpful forums that you can add ideas, questions, or feedback. 5. Wide variety of stories for you to choose from and add your own draft to, thus seeing how others write/think.

Well, it is working, as the community is alive and the inspiration is flowing constantly on the site. A perfect occasion for non-native English speakers to hone their language skills, also, and that's absolutely terrific!

• (2016-03-04) R: ok so i was like haha cool website and now i'm addicted help me i was never good at keeping to stories because i'd always get distracted in the middle and this is the perfect fix for that!! seriously i highly recommend it to anyone even kind of interested in writing it is so much fun and it is such a cool idea! all the love, seriously. (it is still in development, so the features aren't final, but it looks like it'll only be getting better and better)
• (2016-03-04) Alcy Hart: Upon first seeing this website, I was hesitant to go onto it. I didn't want to join a place that I wouldn't end up liking, and when I looked at some of the stories, there were some ones that gave me the impression that it was a place for immature children. When I finally decided to try it out, I couldn't have been more wrong. The website is amazing, and writing for it is a blast. I've also been able to meet people through things like the chat feature who have been so kind and accepting, and have grown to enjoy so much. Now most of my time is spent on the site, and I couldn't be happier with it.
• (2016-02-19) Jessica: I've been a storyteller since the time I was practically four. I have notebooks full of beginnings, middles, endings of stories. I look at the world's happenings and think "hey, that would make a great story". And Story Wars is the perfect outlet for this! I can honestly tell you that I have never written this much in my entire life - and I've only been on the site for two weeks! I'd definitely give it a run.
