• (2020-09-24) Eric Parent: USELESS! I dictate my field notes daily when driving between jobs in my work van (I'm a home inspector). The google dictate in my phone is very accurate, even with transcribing technical terms (thermal bridging, truss joists, differential settlement, etc.). I therefore decided to try out dictation on my home computer. Microsoft's built-in dictation in Office 365 is ok, but not nearly as good as Google. I therefore tried this app, since it advertised itself as the Google Dictate app, however this tool's accuracy is ridiculously poor. And it's not the device, I'm using the same headset I use in my van when travelling at over 120 with the windows down.

• (2019-11-10) Charles Lewis: Do you people think it is better than the speech recognition system that comes with Word 2019? I am not sure yet. My old Dragon system was better than either of these, I think.
• (2019-09-25) Erskin Hansen: I had some quirks getting my mic recognized, but that was because I screwed up the settings with an app the other day. Once my mic was recognized properly things worked out like a charm. Full disclosure... I was using a headset mic. I wouldn't try this using a laptop built-in mic, you're just asking for trouble if you're doing that. All in all, I'm rather impressed with how things worked out. 5 stars!
• (2019-08-11) Cheryl Cade: It's picking up about half the words in each sentence, and 25% of the words it transcribes are wrong. I could have typed it out faster and with many less errors.

• (2017-10-04) Tsinat Gebreselassie: I just downloaded Google voice recognition only a few moments ago and I'm quite impressed. The voice recognition capability of this app is fantastic. I have tried several voice recognizers in the past few days and this is by far the best at actually understanding what I'm saying .

• (2017-07-17) Robin Lefever: I have only just started using this and I doubt I will use it a great deal as I already find Siri good enough for most of my dictation needs but this was simple, fast to load and very accurate and so I shall keep it as a bookmark on my chrome account for those odd occasions I need to quickly dictate something. I was disappointed to read a couple of very critical reviews that clearly weren't relating to this product. I have marked them as spam in the hope they are taken out of these reviews. Please do the same if you see them.

• (2017-06-06) Sue Kinzelman: If I stop talking for a short time, the mic turns off. Then if I want to talk again, it removes everything I typed in. Is there a way to keep the mic on? The recognition is very good.

I would have to say it's 75% accurate and has assisted me in making my fingers a little less strained when needing to send a message

• (2017-03-17) Karl Pearson: Not as good as I wish, but at least I recognize that the weaknesses from Google I don't like are mostly my own fault for not correcting my own user dictionary. Once I go in and fix things, this works better, too, because it's tied to Google. Another reviewer or more have complained that it's totally useless because it's tied to Google. Well, those complainers need to go look in the mirror because if Google's searches for them are totally useless, it's their own fault. Totally. That makes me laugh because they don't understand how to use Google to their own best end, and blame Google instead of themselves, where the problem largely lies.

• (2017-02-08) Joel Johnson: This is the best dictation recognition app I have used since Dragon Dictation. I am using this in a business setting and after long calls this eliminates at least 10 minutes of re-writing notes. Keep up the amazing work at it is 99% accurate especially with business terminology.

The dictation doesn't even pick up all of my words, and each time i try to undo something I'm typing, it completely screws up everything that is already down. Words are deleted or scrambled, my changes to the sentences written by this incompetent software are deleted or have the original added on top of it. All in all, don't waste your time. Use Apple's dictation which is at least easier to use, or onboard dictation on whatever computer you are on.
