Glitterboo is a fun site for adding photo-realistic sparkling effects to your pictures. It works with both graphics and photos, and you can download the results as images, animated GIF files or MP4 videos.
Pictures with a mixture of light and dark areas work especially well with the effect.
There is a gallery of photos and animations using the effects on the site.

High resolution downloads and more photo effects are available for site members at a price of $8.99 for a one year membership.
Glitterboo uses an all-Javascript interface so can be used on energy efficient devices such as ChromeBooks and NetBooks. We recommend using Glitterboo with the Google Chrome browser.
