Magic Blast Spades is an adaptation of the card game Spades played with four players. Each player is partnered with the player sitting across from him. Play Spades against the computer in this free online Spades card game.

*New: Smarter partner! There have been several complaints of the monkey cutting player tricks. I've improved the monkey's AI so he's a bit smarter. This should stop the monkey from cutting your tricks. -Rick

Brinda Reid 2018-09-19: That dumb monkey will have the ace in his hand and not play it until 2nd or 3rd round and often it gets cut. The monkey also throws off high cards before making his bid. The monkey usually bids too high and cannot make bids w/out my save.

However it feels as if your partner is a 6 year old espceically if you bid nil and they actually set you up to fail rather than covering for you. I would rather the challenge come from better opposition rather than an erratic, harebrained partner. There is also a serious glitch with this game if you are to lead and only have spades in your hand and they have not been broken the game is stuck. It is as if the designer does not really play this game or comprehend it beyond the most basic level.

I know that I have to play with him overbidding and not very smart with his protection if I bid nil. However, unlike those who complain about it. I understand that it is part of the challenge, and I accept that. How about some card playing music to go with the game?
Richard Minns 2017-02-16: I personally have found it rather good so far, have won 6 of 8 games. Monkey does seem to overbid at times but have managed to compensate for it as long as he bids before I do. good game to keep you entertained for a while. Programmer should not be abused or insulted because you cant play the game right, sometimes you win sometimes you don't, that's the way of the game player. Don't want games you win every time, NO CHALLENGE if you do.
PAMELA HATTON 2017-02-01: Enjoyable game to a certain point.. You gotta keep an eye on the monkey (your partner). He/She (?) tends to overbid so if he bids high I make sure I bid low but my partner has always covered me when I have bid nil.. OK to pass time
