Better Steam
Extension Actions
Makes Steam better by removing the bloat, adding game insights, and surfacing the best deals for you to explore.
Tired of going through Steam's age check each time you look at a game? Wish you should see more charts and stats about each game? Look no further! Better Steam is a lightweight extension built to improve your experience navigating Steam Store and Steam Community Hub pages.
Key Features:
✅ Skip all age checks on Steam: Automatically bypass Steam age checks on both Store and Community Hub pages. Never enter your birthday again.
✅ Cleaner and faster alternative to SteamDB, Enhanced Steam, and Augmented Steam.
✅ Display helpful game stats: See key game stats like concurrent players, all-time peak players, and the Steambase "Player Score" directly on the Steam Store page. Data is sourced directly from Steambase's Steam database.
✅ Add external links to the best Steam websites: Whether you are looking for a deal on your next game purchase or wanting to learn how well a game runs on the Steam Deck — Better Steam adds links to other sites to help you find the information you need.

- 1. True, no bloat. there's only player count and game score. Why is that a helpful btw? im looking for best price which only displayed on their website, Steambase. I don't get why navigating to another site is a good idea to remove "bloat". Furthermore, it took long enough to load that i alr finish my speedtest check before the site done loading. Maybe that's only my experience. 2. The site, it doesn't even have regional currency, or at least not easy enough to change unlike steamdb. Then the deals, it doesnt even list what is available rn, it just expect you to check each site one by one. Truly, i dont get why list this as faster and cleaner than SteamDB and ITAD's Augmented Steam. 3. i also tried this directly in Steam client using Extendium (plugin of Millenium). Clicking any of the thing will open up a pop up, cause there's no tab system in steam client. so it gets a bit annoying. Perhaps more care from the author could do the trick.
