Sokikom's Common Core Math program is a research-based learning game originally built from a U.S. Department of Education grant. This app offers compelling visuals, individualized learning and interactive lessons focused on elementary math. Students can access hints within the learning experience and are given instructional help videos when they get stuck. A variety of Common Core domains are covered, including Fractions, Operations, Measurement & Data and Geometry.
After installing this app, students play through a program that adapts to address individual student ability in an engaging, game-like format. In addition, students earn rewards for learning to upgrade their character, making them intensely engaged in learning. Additionally, students can play multi-player games online in teams with their classmates! All learning experiences include virtual manipulatives and are designed to promote deep understanding.
For teachers & parents, all student progress on Common Core Standards is tracked in real time in your own account. The Sokikom system shows detailed data, including the exact questions that students struggle with, making it easy to identify and assist struggling students.
