Description from store A app that enhances the Google Music and SoundCloud experience with some nifty features such as: - NEW: Dark Themes for a more comfortable use in low light settings - NEW: support for SoundCloud - Compact/mini mode - No open tabs required - Media Keys support - Equalizer (Google Music only) If you have an idea for a feature or you'd like to contribute with a suggestion, drop a line in the Support tab ;) NOTE: To disable the Media Keys feature please follow this guide here: http://goo.gl/oRVIrm Unfortunately there's no API at the moment to make the Enable/Disable of Media Keys support more user friendly.

  • (2017-12-17) Allan Holding: Npthing to write home about Listen to music moreover via USB flash drive using the Files App. Hardly use, more for decoration to show others.

  • (2017-05-20) Renn Ho'aloha Loren: JUST added it to my Chromebook but it already seems quite a decent little music app which greatly enhances the sound of any speakers. The EQ feature allows either presets or the option to customize sound profile to suit one's individual tastes. Lots of nice features that I intend to make full use of in time.
  • (2017-05-15) Bret Colden: I wouldn't pay money for something that I don't like I love Google Music I just got to get mine all these doubles and triples, taking up too much space speaking of I should check and make sure it's on my SD card but no very great app I love it it'

  • (2016-09-09) Michael Yadrick: Finally, an app/extension that enhances a user's experience. It is nice to be pleasantly surprised every once and a while. I noticed folks commenting on the fact Google Play Music has an EQ feature but after trying each extension and not being able to figure out how to access it, I gave up. Somewhere down the line, I came across gMusic, tried it out and successfully discovered the "hidden" extra features in the top left corner of the screen (by hovering the mouse above the menu rectangle). Hovering the mouse opens a menu for accessing 1) SoundCloud, 2) EQ with presets, 3) Day/Night Mode toggle, 4) Re-load, and 5) ratings. The sound quality using this app is phenomenal and would like to thank the developer for presenting something special.
  • (2016-07-18) Timothy Arrington: good bass
  • (2016-07-06) Gary Cooper: Great app!
  • (2016-06-26) Christopher WIlliams: Best Google Play Music app for the PC, MAC or the Chromebook. Amazing equalizer and very easy to get used to everything. Definitely recommend this to someone else.
  • (2016-06-14) Zachary hinman: fire
  • (2016-06-04) Joseph Losada: I love it!!!!

  • (2016-05-23) Bevin Scott: Sounds AMAZING!!!
  • (2016-05-16) Donald Brown: it's great
  • (2016-05-12) Mike M.: Great, the music will either make you happy with a blast from that past or bring back a special person in absolute and perfect focus with the possibly of a smile/tear or two. And this is only one pick off the endless selection presented before you. Believe me, this app makes the day and your attitude a whole different game, you'll actually be pleasantly surprised when a forgotten memory is reignited and your smile can't easily be hidden.
  • (2016-05-07) Chris Haro: I have the chrome browser on my Macbook where I can utilize all my Google apps. Unfortunately, gMusic will not "cast" through my chrome browser unlike Play Music. When you click on the "cast" icon nothing happens. Uninstalled and went back to the regular PlayMusic app.
  • (2016-04-10) Cody Johnson: This is a really great app, it works perfectly for me, and the extra options are pretty good. Please contiue updates, don't listen to the haters. :)
  • (2016-03-24) Christopher Prinslow: Does exactly what i needed it for without a bunch of random stuff trying to come along with it
  • (2016-03-20) Alan Hughes: I don't get it. It just opens a weird browser window with Google Music and no extra options like the screen shots claim it will have. And it doesn't even load your music or function.
  • (2016-03-03) terrance gibbs: amazing
  • (2016-03-02) Neko_urself: the player ive been looking for! best soundcloud player for desktop, wouldve been nice if you could change the volume while in compact mode.
  • (2016-02-25) Jeremy Leishman: Works very well on Pixel 2. Have not seen a need for a back button as other have expressed that the lack of it is a negative.
  • (2016-02-04) Wilder Konschak: Occassionally acts a little wonky, but amongst the current options for launching Google Music without launching a whole browser tab, this is the best I've found.
  • (2016-01-15) Tim Serr: Equalizer functionality works great...music sounds awesome. Only issue in Google Play Music is no Back button. When selecting a playlist option Google Play loads a new screen; if I want to return to the playlists I need to press the back key on the keyboard (this would not normally be an issue, but then I notice the screen doesn't redraw the page so my page is blank). Other than that issue, I really like this app - well done.
  • (2016-01-06) Ed Fuhrmeister: Great app
  • (2015-12-31) Miroslav Götz: Nice piece of work. Frankly I have been kinda disappointed by all Google Music apps (both Android and iOS), Gplay in Chrome is not that convenient too. Looking forward to new updates of this app, no doubt this is my favorite Gmusic solution :-)
  • (2015-12-29) Philip Tittley: Really like it! but the lack of a back button is taking away one star.
  • (2015-12-27) Cash MouSe: Everything i could want in one spot. This App is the shi#!*!!!!
  • (2015-12-20) Daughter of the Highest King: Awesome
  • (2015-12-15) David “Stoney” Livingstone: Love the features others have pointed out: Night Mode; stand alone; equalizer. Would have given five stars if there were a back button or similar function. The lack of this simple feature makes navigation a bit clunky. Yes, there are workarounds but a back button would better.
  • (2015-12-01) Powell Lynch: Love it. powellj62
  • (2015-11-13) Tina Durocher: Love this app
  • (2015-11-12) BRG: The design would have been improved if the gray bar was changed to a tinted orange bar, love how you can change from google play music to soundcloud though!
  • (2015-11-05) I've been looking for an equalizer for so long and no one believed there was one for Google Play Music. I actually stopped my subscription because believe it or not I could get the kind of sound I wanted with Media Player because of the equalizer. The sound wasn't bad but I want studio quality and that's exactly what this gave me. As soon as I found your app I renewed my subscription to Google Play Music, or should I say gMusic. The sound is so clear, it's like you were in a bar sitting right in front of the performer and his band. Only a lot better because you get to pick the music.
  • (2015-11-02) Levi Strope: It works and my media keys actually control the music! The equalizer works for me.
