Garbage for desktop use. Can't even make a purchase. Spent three days sending offers before I found out they don't go through, fûçking waste of time

Please be aware that this company lost a class action lawsuit last year, they were selling it's users drivers license information to 3rd party companies and did so without asking permission. It was not even in their terms of service. Google search this without quotes "Offerup Onfido" and you will find the information about it. It goes without saying that they are not a ethical company at all, not even remotely, and I strongly encourage everyone to be extremely cautious about signing up for their platform. When a company violates the trust like that and does so without flinching - as Offerup did - take a strong look at that because you are handing over your personal info to them.

Don't waste your time! This app is broke and hasn't been updated in YEARS. Google, please remove this non working app!

doesnt work. cloudflare dns cant resolve. chromebook 7310 chrome 85. linux VT config no playstore, and still using default login verifcation (no dev mode)

Worst UI ever for an app. This was supposed to be the Chrome version, one would use on the desktop. Why then am I required to post offers using a phone, or tablet. Long before we used mobile devices, we could do all this on the 'net - you guys are telling us you have no idea how to develop for the desktop?

this "app" on chrome store is nothing but a bookmark to the website. STill cant post items for sale from computer. Not everyone wants to conduct everything on a phone, esp when its easier on a regular desktop. Their loss, still can sell elsewhere on marketplace or letgo.

Why am I unable to post an item from my computer. All other sites I use (Facebook, Letgo, Poshmark, Neighborhood) allow me to both buy AND sell from my computer. It takes way too long to post items for sale via my phone. Completely useless, will be removing, and not using Offer Up.

Not a desktop client. It's a website bookmark.

Offer up is good for local, but it isnt good for shipping. Offer up doesnt help you out when a problem arises. Dont buy or sell unless its local!

I tried for hours to work with this app, but it fought back every step of the way. For one thing it won't let you open any folder on your phone to post from. Not that I could figure out anyway.

Why have a chrome extension when you can't even use the feature of selling something, half of what this app is for....... that's like watching the world cup with no Visuals having to pick up what is happening from the cheers of the crowd. waist of my time!

The whole offerup community is just a collection of all your local chisellers. Its like Facebook for low-ballers. You'll answer 70 questions about a 40$ item you have listed and the person will come back with. Will you take 5$???

This extension serves no purpose. Anything you can do on this you can do at their website. You still can't post online, you still have to use the mobile app to sell anything. Its garbage.

Junk. You cannot post via computer and they mislead you into thinking you can. I would not touch the app on my phone due to this.

This is the worst app trying to falsely advertise the ease of being able to post an offer through them! Easy would let me log into my account through my desktop and let me post what I WAS going to post, but no. It has to be all complicated telling me to add my number or email to be able to post, I added my number , they sent the text, I received it, and they STILL wouldn't let me post it on my desktop. I know people reading this are probably thinking "why don't you just use your phone then dummy???" But currently, my son is using my phone to watch kids youtube and its almost impossible to take it away without him fussing up a storm, so Im trying to leave him content at the moment while I am far from that! This app used to be original. We all know there were already similar things like this that already existed, but for a second OfferUp stood out from all the rest, now you go on there and they have ads for items that people aren't even posting! They're for regular clothes stores or ecommerce shops. What is the point of even going on this app or website anymore if they're just going to be doing that? Might as well just go on Amazon or Ebay then. It was more convenient that I was able to post individual items on this app without having to worry about making it look and feel like a online store. Now, you have people posting their whole inventory from their stores, and dont get me wrong, I am all for businesses trying to market and advertise their businesses, but sometimes it gets a little overwhelming with all the same posts from one profile posting multiple times so its straight 15 pictures of the same offer. There are better ways, not saying that idea doesnt work, but its extremely undesirable at times and really just makes me exit out of the app. remember, CUSTOMERS ARE WHAT MAKE/MADE YOU WHAT YOU ARE TODAY. Put yourself in our shoes and think if you saw and experienced the same things I just wrote and tell me that you dont agree, because im almost certain that NO ONE would disagree with the customer experience complaint I just wrote. Amazing way to buy things

What a junk app, all it does is point you to the website. I want to be able to post from my computer because it is faster than my phone. Don't waste your time with this junkware. This App is fake and because all the positive reviews are obviously fraudulent, I'm marking them all as "spam", and you should too.

the computer version download is confusing..push this button to get the app.it goes to my email and i tap it again and again wants to send me the app..i have 20 app. invites and still cannot post items to sell.now i go to my phone.. that is were i give you the 5 stars

Default setting for "local" should be 5 miles or less not 30 miles. Mileage skew is really bad; towns marked only 4 miles away from me are actually more than 10 miles actual distance. Too many users; don't read profiles, locations, or descriptions and want every thing for nothing and constantly argue the pricing. Notifications rarely work after software upgrades. Lots of improvements needed .

pointless chrome add on, its a basically a bookmark, offerup limits them selfs by only allowing in app post.

I have been buying and selling on this site for over a year now. The web-site and company go out of their way to keep making it easier and better for the buyer and seller to use. In the year they have made many changes and all for the better and most are to make it safer for the user. Now, don't get me wrong, I have had some difficult times from the buyers and sellers but that isn't about "offer up" those problems are with dealing with people who don't have a clue on how to buy or sell on this type of site.

What is the point of the chrome app if you cannot post ads? Completely useless.

This is not an app, this is a shortcut to their website which cannot be used to sell or buy. You must download an Android or iPhone app to use it. Why not provide an option on the computer web browser? I am not downloading their phone app.

They will stop your account without a notice nor a reason!

very easy and quick for local deals but sales only, no want adds allowed,boo!

It's not an app!! It is an internet shortcut and nothing more. Zero function other than opening a webpage.

Love the app and it's easy access . Wish you had a quick app to download on google or on my desktop without having to open the internet .
