  • (2021-03-27) Nephrite: Leads to an unsecured website that needs access to my drive, which I'm not willing to give it. From the other reviews it sounds like it doesn't even work
  • (2020-10-14) Cilfa: Doesn't work at all. Requires removing adblocker, and when turned off, still doesn't work. Useless app.
  • (2020-03-15) Michael Data: The App was working great till last week when the voice changed to the male american voice and there is no option to change it black. You fix that and you got a 5 out of 5 for me.

  • (2017-11-16) euros ST. (eurossocial): [[UPDATE 16/11/17: I am going to Uninstall it, because I have discovered other 3 Top Best TTS extensions that can read directly from Any Webpage without opening extra pages and boxes. Those are: 1) TTSReaderX, 2) ClaroRead, 3) Talkie. 4) Select and speak]] It opens on a web page and you have to copy and paste the text in order to speak it. It would be better if we just select the text and Right Click from the context menu to read/speak it on the spot. Also the voices sounds strange sometimes. are not smooth... Fix it and I would change my rating. :-) For Now my top extension is [TTSReader - Unlimited Text-To-Speech].
  • (2017-11-13) Jeff Carter: It's OK. I like that it highlights what is being read as it reads. There are abnormally long pauses after commas that almost make the continuation sound like a new sentence, rather than a grammatical pause.
  • (2017-11-02) Basil Andrea: can not be remvoed
  • (2017-10-12) Valborg Sturludóttir: won't open
  • (2017-10-03) Channel Contention: Hooray! AudioBooks Now Get Easier To Avail - IE Audio Ground.
  • (2017-08-19) Ramiro Rodriguez: Robust. Sturdy. Predictable. Awesome. This text to speech app is very reliable. I don't remember the app ever failing to perform its tasks.
  • (2017-07-25) CA Narendra Kothari: great
  • (2017-06-24) kaybear: horrible
  • (2017-05-25) Parneet Alag: Really bad functionality. download tts reader rather than this
  • (2017-04-30) joe hughes: Another Flop From Google! This app does not work!
  • (2017-04-24) Wayne Ritchie: Won't work unless removing ad blocker!
  • (2017-04-04) Stephen Rowley: Pauses in the wrong places at times....not in line where there is no punctuation
  • (2017-03-21) Hossein M: It pauses places that it not suppose to, otherwise very good.
  • (2017-02-19) Charles Pope: I liked this app because if provided the best pronunciation of the many I tried - I had to select the English female voice for best results. However, it now asks me to disable ADblock and will no longer work. I did not have ADBlock installed so there was no way I could disable it. I have now installed ADBlock and tried disabling it but I still just get the message asking me to disable ADblock. The upside is that I have discovered ADBlock - what a great app - thoroughly recommend it. Thank you for improving my web experience.
  • (2017-02-13) Arif Adamji: always stops after few lines.... used to be good but now its painful to use.
  • (2017-01-25) SeinfeldFan: Google drive?... who wants an app JUST for google drive? --- I want to read anything on the web into speech!.... This one did no do it. It failed for my purposes.
  • (2016-12-03) Jamie Mana: Does not work
  • (2016-12-01) Alinda5tar: It reads but there to me there is little to no control over the device as you listen. This app would be wonderful for a reading device ONLY. Listen and edit; not so much.
  • (2016-11-27) EB Kegley: I don't appreciate the lingering highlighted area.
  • (2016-11-21) czarPROstock: wont make a single sound...
  • (2016-11-04) Brian Birch: ads
  • (2016-10-22) Koustas “masterantre” Andreas: just problematic
  • (2016-10-14) Trevor Wilcox: Blocked by ad block. Even after disabling ad block and refreshing, I am still blocked...
  • (2016-10-11) Tom Carlson: to difficult to run
  • (2016-09-02) active english: English learners can self-study without native speaker. good idea
  • (2016-08-29) Shevi Bertman: Liked the PDF option, unfortunately did not read the file well.
  • (2016-07-18) Danielle Fragoso: Horrible - sounds like technology out of the early 90's. I was looking into it for my students with reading disabilities - there is no way they could use this.
  • (2016-06-08) Ryan Griffith: Pauses too often, e.g. will occasionally speak individual words in the middle of a normal sentence with no punctuation. It won't resume, pausing forces you to start over and there's no way to set a custom position.
  • (2016-05-20) Steven: There were a lot of random pauses in speech. They lasted longer than the pauses that happened when periods, commas, or semi colons appeared.
  • (2016-05-14) ByEd Santiago: Wonderfull.
  • (2016-05-07) winterpauluk: needs work and a right click speak any hi lighted information on normal pages would be grate
  • (2016-04-28) Mia Lakes: The same as Chromevox.
  • (2016-04-28) W.T.S. Tarver: Only reads one line.
  • (2016-04-16) Very good. Is there a way to insert <pause> or <wait> ?
  • (2016-04-08) Jason Fleck: Would like to not have to copy and paste but it seems to work well. Ill use it
  • (2016-03-22) Pointless44: to comtuterish
  • (2016-03-15) Michael Dunford: Very good but quite a few ads.
