Description from store Powered by Atmos - https://atmospr.com This extension supports downloading of mp3 files from X.com (formerly Twitter) Spaces. General Video support is coming soon. 👀 HOW TO USE IT + Install the extension + Open a twitter/x.com URL with a space recording (does not work on live spaces) + START PLAYBACK OF TWITTER SPACE (this is important) + Activate extension and click download mp3 + If you run into any issues, refresh the page and try again PLEASE NOTE: - The extension now supports .mp4 downloads of video from twitter spaces!! - The extension only works on Twitter.com or x.com URLs - The extension will not work unless you click the play button of the Twitter Space you want to download. - The extension does not work on live spaces. - The extension does not work on regular twitter videos (yet) - The extension will not detect the audio until you start playing the space recording. - Once the download is complete, you can reset the extension and use it again on another URL SAVING A FILE After the file has processed, it will open a save dialogue box on your computer prompting you to save the file. PRIVACY We do not track or sell your data. We do collect minimal anonymous usage data to improve the extension experience. (2025-04-02) Cody Adams: The Audio File Will Not Play I installed the chrome extension (browser fully updated), navigated to X.com, played the spaces media, selected download media button. The media downloaded to my desktop in mp3, and showed that it has file size (21 MB in this case), but would not play on any media player (VLC, Windows Media, or any audio editor (audacity, premiere pro). Not sure what the problem is, but there is a problem lol (I'm using the latest updated Windows 11)

(2024-09-17) R M: Great first attempt, Raymmar One reason the other user may have been confused; he may not have read the instructions to start playing the space before your extension will work. In addition, there is an issue where any click/navigation from the page stops your extension from completing. That wouldn't normally be a big issue; however, downloading spaces can often be a slow process. I'll update my rating once the kinks are worked out to be 5-stars because I see great potential. I also agree with your notes -- that allowing people to enter their API-key for OpenAI to apply Whisper audio-to-text, would be a great idea.
