  • (2019-01-28) Beckett Loose: The software is great. it does exactly what I need and I wouldn't recommend it more, except for one problem. Now to use the software at all you have to purchase a license. I would give it less than 3 stars but it works for what you need. Thanks a lot for destroying the only website editor on google drive.
  • (2018-08-30) Alejandro Estrella: It does what it promises. Liked better that more complex editors like Visual Studio Code. I was able to edit html, css and js while checking the changes in the preview window. I started using Bluegriffon in parallel to compare an choose... I kept Editey. Having all your files in Google drive with automatic save kept my work safe. A word of caution: do not use it in a small screen. To me it works better from 19" and up. Also remember to reload the project if you change the locations of css and js files.
  • (2018-03-14) Jimm B: I found it completely non-intuitive, and gave up after about 1/2 hour of trying to figure it out. I ended up with a competitor, HTML Editor for Google Drive.
  • (2017-10-03) Channel Contention: Hooray! Edit And View Any DocType Lang - Edit With Editey.
  • (2017-06-13) Angel Diaz: very good
  • (2017-05-02) Mufin Blue: The multi-line typing glitches out and mixes up the characters. Complete nightmare. Due to this horrid issue, white space within code actually affects the outcome of the website. I bet the devs wouldn't even use their PoS
  • (2017-01-24) Clemens Thees: The idea is good, the execution rather meagre. - Documentation and help is practically non-existent (or well hidden) - You cannot add existing files to a project. You can add new files through the Editey UI, but it seems you cannot move them around to suite your own project folder setup. - The preview is slow and has to be refreshed manually. Hence, my quest for a nice drive-integrated web IDE continues...
  • (2016-12-10) Steven Pozega: needs fixing
  • (2016-10-20) Dazzle Cat: i did all things correct ,uploaded required files such as css and images plus java scripts , and it show the page correct on google but when i go to publish it to Editey website, it gives an error , i tried it many times , don't know what is messing! and one thing also its slow as hell , better to use offline web editor than this.
  • (2016-06-02) Dudley Barker: this is a great tool for building straightforward html docs with live preview. don't even have to save. it's brackets without the learning curve. if you want a proper offline editor, use notepad++ or sublime. plus non-coders can edit your files in Docs. ")
  • (2016-05-20) Glass Programming: SLOW! SLOW! SLOW! SLOW! SLOW! SLOW! SLOW! SLOW! SLOW! SLOW! SLOW! SLOW!
  • (2016-04-17) Egas Krad: 1) You need to give it a lot of permissions... more than I like I would say. Why does it need to change your API? Why does it need to send email for you? 2) It is an HTML TEXT editor, which means that if you are looking for WYSIWYG, forget about it. Yes, there are templates to copy... but if you do not look at the video you would never guess. Then after you work the template you still need to edit the code. This is be a good tools in the right hand but it is definitely not design for the common crowd.
  • (2016-04-07) Brian Simmons: In theory this app may be OK, but it is incredibly slow! Any time saved using the app is lost waiting for things to load. Not happy.
  • (2016-03-12) Tyler Broussard: I used it everyday. Does just what i need!
  • (2016-02-20) Logan Benjamin (MutantVampire): Definitely NOT happy about how it requests permissions more than once. It already got the first part. DO NOT GIVE PERMISSIONS.
  • (2016-02-16) Nicholas Zivkovic: soooo gooood
  • (2016-02-12) Patrick Comeau: Very useful, even for beginners
  • (2016-02-01) Stephen Filippone: I'm going to keep trying to make this work for me, but so far not easy to use. It's slow to open. File management is not clear. too many server errors. Sure it can be great some day, but today it just made my life harder.
  • (2016-01-19) Ken Hsu: good
  • (2015-10-07) Allen Hauser: It works perfectly. What sucks is that you cant create a black document. You would have to go to Google Drive make a doc or something then go into the app and open it. THAT'S THE ONLY PROBLEM. BTW it gives you lots of samples to start with.
  • (2015-10-02) Arav K: Pretty nice but css...
  • (2015-09-21) Roberta Chaim: Did not work for me, images did not appear, did not like the edit layout.
  • (2015-09-18) pushpika liyanaarachchi: I think it's great... :)
  • (2015-09-13) Joshua Simon: great
  • (2015-09-09) Sairam N: Great app..!!
  • (2015-09-07) Saahil Mohta: yay!!! but there are some things you cant do with editey... whatever
  • (2015-09-05) Ashish Patel: Only one word 'AWESOME'
  • (2015-08-28) Brendan Bax: I was hosting the HTML for an email on drive and Google suggested opening my file with Editey - very surprising and helpful tool. Its quick to update, works on the go to make changes, and I like seeing my work as I update the files. I'm sure there are more great features I haven't tapped into yet.
  • (2015-08-24) Code Monkey: It was okay, not bad. File integration can be a little weird and several times my files wouldn't update. The accessibility and previewer window were phenomenal and having the widow update after every change made those minute pixel changes much easier. Unfortunately some of the promised features simply don't work. The multi-line typing gliches out and mixes up the characters. The highlight and scroll works well, but good luck getting it to change those lines in a few keystrokes. Finally it really needs a more easily accessible search function. Just gross. Overall great to start, but if you're doing any big projects use something else.
  • (2015-08-19) Yuenyong Nilsiam: very handy!!!
  • (2015-08-16) Lewis Fowler: Awesome product for editing on the fly, as well as, for longterm creations with cloud backing! A must have Chrome add-on for all your HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, etc...
  • (2015-08-13) Jen Hennessy: Easy to use and works well for simple code and quick edits. Good for a beginner.
  • (2015-08-11) Nate (Nathan): Overall is a good program, I think the only real problem I have with the editey programs is the fact that it doesn't auto-focus into the text box when you make a new document or switch tabs. Other than that tiny detail, I think its a great tool for developers of any level
  • (2015-08-11) Mad M: very Useful app..had no issues using it at all
  • (2015-08-06) Elisa Kortela: Very helpful and simple to use. You can instantly see the result.
  • (2015-08-05) Caleb Aikens: Fantastic program, makes web design class easier because I can now code along with just my Chromebook!
  • (2015-07-31) Jamaican Attaclaps: Not bad, used it somtimes for online job with a colleague
  • (2015-07-30) Dom Perez: The different flavors of Editey are simple, light, & fun. Thanks for an awesome little tool!
  • (2015-07-28) Miguel mejia: Need to make the files connect much easier. Make everything easier to navigate because it's too confusing. Can't tell where I am half the time. Also, some bugs need to be dealt with. Like when I'm editing a file and in the code it just randomly scrambles everything on the person that you're sharing it with side. I've seen it because I was sitting next to them. This plus a slew of other errors that this program has. It sucks.
  • (2015-07-27) Amanda Spinelli: This application is awesome!!
  • (2015-07-21) Martin Rodrigo Gomez Balsimelli: Excelent App. Easy to use, very friendly.... nothing to complaint
  • (2015-07-21) Byblos Hospitality Group: excellent tool..
  • (2015-07-15) Oliver Gunning: Have found it useful for team members to contribute to projects
  • (2015-07-15) Paulo Sobreira: Awesome!!!! Fodastico!!!
  • (2015-06-30) PCAC: Very helpful
  • (2015-06-29) CooCoo Guy: There is no tutorial of how to use program. I have no idea how to edit anything and I don't even know what the software is for.
  • (2015-06-26) Gabriela Giurgea: Very nice and handy
  • (2015-06-21) A. Syamsul Hadi: good !
  • (2015-06-18) Weijing Wang: I thought it was pretty good but it had glitches so I just went back to codecademy. The is the program can't (somtimes) figure what your doing so it just guesses wrong things and messes up your code so yeah its a litte annoying.
