- (2011-12-08) Peter McMahon: The steep times are strange. Of course just steep to you liking but its generally accepted: For black/oolong tea it should default to 5m. Green/flavored 3m. White 7m(you can't set it longer than 6). Maybe the times are ok for bag tea but loose leaf tea takes longer.
