• (2022-08-14) Cristobal Rendon: Still using this in 2022, I've been using it since about 2018 when I got my first chromebook. This web app is great for 2 reasons. 1. It handles most if not all file types. Not as wide spectrum as say VLC on a windows device, but still, I haven't been stuck not being able to play anything yet. 2. I can play all the music off a usb drive or, as I'm doing now, a micro sd card. Chromebooks have such small storage to start, it's nice that I can just plug in and play my music. This is better than simple using the files app that comes with my chromebook becuase the files app always finds errors or hidden files that it can't read, and when that happens, it just stops playing music completely. Long story short, if you have a big collection of music on a usb or micro sd card and want a fast and simple way to play that music on your chromebook, this is it. Not other app is easier and more effective than this one as of 2022.
• (2022-06-09) Mister Somebody: This is the only chrome app that I've found that plays both local, and drive audio files and instantly loops! I also like that you can change the decibels in it as well! This is by far, the best music player for Chrome

• (2022-01-05) Ryk Groff: Excellent music player! Looks great and works perfectly. Love the CD animation while the song is playing. Couldn't access my Google Drive, but that's certainly not a deal breaker (got an error message about an app trying to access it). Kudos to the coders!

• (2021-05-13) Declan Brewer: I used this a while ago, and I thought it was awesome. I removed it for some reason (I still don't know why; it was really good!) and I just redownloaded it today. For some reason though, it won't load any online songs, even though I've checked my internet connection, tried rebooting the app, but nothing is working. For example, I went to the "online" tab and input a search for "Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne" (one of my favorites) but nothing comes up and in the bottom right it says "search error". I thought, "Oh well, the search must not be working," so I went to the "genres" tab to search for it that way, but when I clicked on "rock" nothing happened. I really hope I can find a solution, because this app is really fun, and I really miss it.
• (2021-03-31) pierre woods: Have been looking for a decent music player for my chrome-book. This app on Extensions on web store says that its compatible to my c-book. It is not!! - it can be downloaded, thereafter, it cannot locate any files and follows up by a THIS APP IS BLOCKED by Google.
• (2021-03-25) Alan Bartlett: Great file organization, very graphically pleasing. The equalizer works perfectly, and the included volume booster was something I had a very hard time finding. The Chromecast integration is flawless, and I can listen to it anywhere in my house now. BEST MP3 PLAYER APP OUT THERE FOR CHROMEBOOK (or windows or linux or OSx).

• (2020-08-18) Darin Walker: Nice player and interface, BUT no sort function for individual titles (Cannot place songs in my preferred order), and player does not play songs according to the visible list order already showing (It plays at random). This is a big problem for me. Sort Control should ALWAYS be an option in any music player. Also, adding music is a vague and cryptic process (Not user friendly). If you want only computer techs to use this app, then leave it as it is. If you want everyone else to use it, then it requires changes!

It used to work like a charm but now sense i'm at a new school and im using my regular home laptop it wont work. at first when i tried it it worked but after a few tries it just stopped and it keeps on saying search error it doesnt matter what i search thats all it says.

• (2019-10-22) Brandon McGriff: Works great for local music, even my OGG files. I wish it supported adding music stream URLs, instead of only supporting Sound Cloud. If support for adding stream URLs is added, then it's 5 stars from me. It's better than the music player built into Chrome OS, because when I'm studying on WaniKani and it plays a Japanese reading sound clip, the Chrome OS music player randomly just stops playing instead of continuing to play with reduced volume; this player keeps playing with reduced volume, without randomly stopping playback. I would say this is the best Chrome app music player for now.
