An annoyingly simple checklists app, using on Google tasks

Description from store
Glists is a Google tasks client. Meaning, its a task management app, with Google tasks as the backend. This means you access the same tasks with Glists, what you see in Gmail or any of the slew of other google tasks clients, available on just about every platform.
I made this to make it easy to manage Google Tasks from Chrome. I had a wonderful client on my iPad called GoTasks, but there isn't an awesome client on the browser. So, this is it. Its not there yet, still working.
Please note that this is in alpha, kind of *works for me* stage right now. Sharing with the world to get feedback :). As such, I haven't put much into the looks of the app, focusing on the *it works* part first.
You can contact me at my gmail address `shrikantsharat.k`. Drop me a line with feedback, complaints, hello's, thanks anything. Thanks!

[Update: There is a problem in updating this app on the web store and the problem is not documented well by Google. This is the reason for lack of updates on this app, many bugs have actually been fixed but not being able to share is very frustrating. I have not abandoned this app.]

- (2016-09-05) Jordan Desmet: Same issue as Jay. Appears this app is no longer useable.
- (2016-08-12) Jay Schauer: I cannot log in, when I select my account it just goes to an about:blank page and nothing happens.
- (2015-10-29) R r: could you PLEASE add hide button? for the tasks which haves subTasks moved right like: task subTask subTask2
- (2015-09-12) Mehmet Gunacti: Good app. Offline mode please!

- (2014-10-04) Ondřej Pacovský: Does not work, fails to link the google account
- (2014-09-28) Adrian Hoban: I would love to love this, but the UI is needlessly rigid. Why do I need part of the screen always taken up with my list titles? I'm also glad to see someone working on a Google Tasks app, as the choices are surprisingly slim, but this app needs *user options* to resize left column, remove black bar above lists, etc. btw, another fantastic app for iOS besides GoTasks is "GTasks". Sure wish there was a Chrome app as robust as those two!
- (2014-07-25) Renaat: Still working on this?
- (2014-04-04) Glad to see someone working on this app, but it's definitely not as good as the iOS app you mentioned, GoTasks. My favorite feature in GoTasks is that you can group tasks by due date, and THEN prioritize them manually within that due date group. If you could pull that off with this I'd be a big fan. But as it stands, I can't use this app.
- (2014-03-11) Giovanni Mora Castillo: Did't pull my tasks from gmail
- (2013-12-04) Thomas Sandau: The mouseover links are a bit unnecessary. Just provide icons. And why not make the whole thing smaller by default. Why take up the whole screen?
- (2013-11-25) Steven Price: Great app. Works. Simple. Clean. Also suggest ability to reorder task lists.
- (2013-09-09) Jonathan Josephs: Great app. Love, love, love the simplicity. Only suggestions are to allow us to set the order of the task lists and have the app remember me so I don't have to keep logging in.
- (2013-09-03) Oleg: Cool, but we need option to moving task to another lists
- (2013-08-27) Joe B: I use GTO on my smartphone, syncs well with Google Tasks. This app synced, but I can't create sub-tasks. Small detail, but a feature I use.
- (2013-08-22) yewkim lim: Great app. But I prefer to have option to manual sync instead of auto sync. It is because sometimes auto sync won't work (network issue?)
- (2013-08-05) John Butts: Awesome - Keep it simple!
- (2013-07-13) Ricky T: I was using this for work tasks and had 10 tasks going. One important tasks with a phone # I had to call back. Then all the sudden, I press escape to exit one of the tasks because its not responding and lose ALL THE TASKS I ADDED ALL MORNING. I guess it didn't sync at all. POS DISASTER!! You've been warned!
- (2013-07-04) Kyle Johnston: Great app, but it doesn't seem to sync tabbed tasks fully. For example, if I create a tier of tasks in Glists it doesn't carry through to Google Tasks.
- (2013-06-26) Joanna Wojtkowiak: I love it for it's simple and clear apperiance! It would be better (for 6*!) with extension (for Chrome etc.) and labels/folders. Great job! I'm waiting for more :)
- (2013-04-26) WeiHua Liu: Much BETTER than official Google Tasks client.
- (2013-04-19) Sven Böttcher: Great!!! So simple and useful. Now you can read the whole note, it couldn't be better. I'm absolutely fascinated. Go on, good work.
- (2013-03-18) Brian Covey: Just installed it. It synced right up and looks great. I have found zero bugs or problems.
- (2013-03-14) Just Sturgis: I love the UI. 100% better than the native setup. This is one of my favorite GTask options. It would instantly go from 4 Stars to 5 Stars if: A) You could log in with more than one Google Account at a time B) There was also an extension (better than an app/link IMHO)
- (2013-03-08) Its great!! A simple extension from a gtask, Just what i need :)
- (2013-03-01) Guobing Li: The best google task sync app in this web store. Love it. Pls. don't abandoned it.
- (2013-02-26) Kostas Eftaxias: Very usefull, simple to use with a minimal appearance!
- (2013-02-07) Ilia Sretenskii: I have added the application, started it and connected with my Google account and got the "This webpage is not available" error! The webpage at chrome-extension://invalid/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
- (2013-02-07) Jesús Moreno: It's great, but it pops up a window prompting to select which google account to use every time I open it, that's not good.
- (2013-02-05) Chema Gonzalez: It has the 2 day bug, it's the best task app for google task that exists, simple, and just what you need. Please fix this :)
- (2013-01-26) Pier Luigi Rizzini: It'simple and very effective. The only annoing problem is the continuos access request in a pop up window
- (2012-12-31) Ryan Anderson: Changes dates (by 2 days) on any item you edit. Too bad I clicked a bunch before realizing and now have to go back and adjust the dates :(
