- (2025-03-13) Paul Blackburn: This *was* very useful to verify the "VASCO Digipass Secure Click" usb key (and associated bluetooth "button" device). You could display the firmware versions of both the usb dongle and bluetooth "button" devices to confirm they are both working correctly. Then it was a 5*. However, recently (in March 2025) this no longer works for me in Google Chrome on Linux or Windows. This chromewebstore page now displays a message "! This item can only run in ChromeOS". Why? What is the point of removing a very useful and practical tool? Also, have you tried running ChromeOS? Good luck with that. How many stars for this today? zero, nada, null. Update (2025_03_13): I finally managed to install ChromeOS on old HP laptop. Then I checked for "DIGIPASS SecureClick Manager" and found it as a ChromeOS app. I ran this app and it correctly verified my SecureClick key and usefully showed the battery level. Next test is to see if my SecureClick authenticates in ChromeOS.
