- (2025-06-21) NOT Garnt Maneetapho: Works well even on full color manga pages. Website UI is also very easy to work with.
- (2025-06-16) Thiranai Somjing: Almost on par with Ichigo in terms of redrawing. The thing i like the most about Torii instead of Ichigo is that it's not monthly subscription. I can just top-up my credits and use it when I find a manga with a "nuke code" that is worth understanding the context and story. Highly recommended to keep it top-up and use it whenever you like.

Few offer editing options and even fewer offer the same level of pricing that this does. Communication is one important thing and the developer is quite active on his discord. The quality level is really good, especially when we can choose what editing or stuff to leave out. Recommended to try

It's pretty fast, unlike the others, and there is no image distortion after the translation, so pretty good based on the trial. I recommend this

- (2025-05-18) Tsuki Taiyou: Torii's image translator extension across Firefox and Brave (Chromium) has been surprisingly good in my past 20 hours of binge reading that hasn't been released in English yet. Don't get me wrong, AI/ML translations aren't fully there but at least at my level it's just what I need to keep the story going. I only need the translate aid 70-80% of the time for my current series and with my selective translations Torii has kept up well. Even at 100% translation, I do think the rates Torii charges at the time of writing this review are very reasonable, and the app has its uses outside of manga/image translation. The developer seems very open to suggestions (even the gray hair inducing ones) but honestly this tool is extremely useful in this highly digital day and age. Imagining this level of functionality 10, even 5 years ago would have been mind blowing. Torii still has room to grow but at the time of writing, I find it to be a very invaluable tool and very well early implementation of its functionality at very reasonable pricing.

- (2025-04-27) 9sunskungfu: An awesome and versatile tool.. It does a lot more than any translator i've ever used. ( and i've used a few already ) You can edit your translations by rewording them and putting the words inside the speech bubbles properly because all translators over emphasise words, sentences or letters and are at times, way outside the box like overwritten speech bubbles and overlapping/overcrowding paragraphs. With the Tori translator, you can clean out the speech boxes or bubbles and rewrite everything and you can rework effects by making new ones and place them over an unwanted character. To be able to scanlate so easily as i have never done it before , it is an absolute God send for me. Not complicated and very user friendly. So i would say to anyone who is using a translator and they're not happy enough with the outcome..you can correct it easily with this tool. To the person who came up with this tool... Thanks ! I love it.

- (2025-04-21) Werdnaz Ztrawchs: A great tool with great translation abilities. Not only that, but it comes along with options to edit images and text after said translation, which is very useful. While a cut above the other manga translator extensions/sites, it does not come with a monthly purchase option (as far as I could tell) for using the extension and instead you have to buy credits, each one used as pricing to translate a page/panel. For most people, the amount of credit you would get would be satisfactory, but I've been avidly using it to read untranslated media and the credits have been decreasing very fast. If you plan to use this a lot, but are fine with slightly less optimized results, it would probably a good idea to use a different image translator extension less pricey and use this one as backup.

It's simple and has worked great everywhere I've tried it, and I'm having a lot of fun being able to check out untranslated titles. The translation itself is overall pretty good, and I really like that when you do image translations on the site, you can add/delete/tweak text to correct things or just make the language more natural. (I wish you could add background/color instead of just erasing it though!) At first I thought I'd prefer a monthly subscription to buying credits, but after using it I've changed my mind - no worries about wasting money if I stop using it for a while.

- (2025-03-17) Howaboutno 12: This is a W extension, ive used it for a little while now and I can say it was definitely worth it! With just a simple click you can get translations almost instantly, at most a few seconds and also have quality that ain't far away from official translations. It also has amazing versality, ive been mostly using it on Chinese raw sites, and it hasn't let me down yet.
- (2025-03-14) Bii-Boh -Bi: It does a good job translating clearly from what I've seen through the free trial. However, not a fan of the pricing model. You essentially need to buy credits, one credit is 1 image. For korean webcomics, I fear this can get expensive, especially if the long panelling are multiple short images. I would've been all aboard if there was unlimited credits through a set price or monthly subscription. But for now, I don't know if I can see myself buying credits. So up to you if that's worth it since you prob could read like 80-100 manga chapters with the $6 option. But the idea I have to be cautious about my credit spending while I read? It stresses me out. As for the multiple positive reviews, no, none are bots. But they are incentivised to leave a review for free credits if anyone was curious. Anyways, seems like a good service, and the developer does seem to care. I just wish there was an unlimited credit option somehow.

- (2025-01-08) Asuna Gray: (used on PC) Both this extension and Ichigo (strawberry translator which I paid for) seem like really well made translation apps. You can tell they work for certain people. But neither work for the official Korean manhwa sites I use (LezhinKO, Ridibooks, Peanutoon, Bomtoon, etc). I don't read pirated manga or manhwa so I'm sure these apps work well on illegal sites, but it just sucks that I'm doing the right thing by supporting creators and I can't have an easy way to translate comics that isn't literally uploading a screenshot of each and every panel and then running it thru a translator. That's extremely tedious. I would like it if someone could figure out a way to have an in-browser auto translator that works for official sites.

There are some cool options too, like translating just a selected area from a screenshot or using shortcuts to make things faster. For something that does automatic translation, it’s surprisingly good—saves you so much time compared to doing it manually. Plus, the developer seems like a genuinely nice person who actually listens to feedback and works to improve it. Highly recommend if you’re into manga!
