Quan instal·lis el lector de Google Acadèmic, els PDF de tots els llocs web tindran un aspecte nou a Chrome. Per fer-ho, Chrome et demanarà permisos per llegir i canviar les dades de tots els llocs web. El lector de Google Acadèmic no fa cap altre canvi que no sigui la presentació de PDF.
• Previsualitza les referències mentre llegeixes. Fes clic a les citacions que hi ha al text per veure un resum i trobar el PDF.
• Llegeix més ràpidament amb l'esquema d'IA. Fes-te una idea ràpida i fes clic als pics interessants per anar a altres seccions de l'article.
• Fes clic a les mencions d'imatges que hi ha al text per veure la imatge, i al botó Enrere per continuar llegint.
• Adapta'l als teus ulls amb els modes clar, fosc i nocturn.
• Copia i enganxa formats de citació habituals sense sortir de l'article.
• Desa articles a la teva biblioteca de Google Acadèmic per llegir-los o citar-los més endavant.
En instal·lar l'extensió, accepteu les Condicions del servei i la Política de privadesa de Google a https://www.google.com/intl/ca/policies/.

Saves me hours a week and tons of hair (that I don't pluck from my head, having to manually go to the end of the paper, not find where I was then 3 more clicks to search for the citation) really, I'd pay for this extension (though don't, please)

- Love it, but trying to find the culprit that told Google Scholar I am a bot, and now won't let me in to Google Scholar for anything! If this extension is chatty, it might be the one...... Trying by disabling it first.

- Perfect for reading academic papers. It would be great to add these features: - Fix hard breaks at the end of each line when copying multiple lines from a PDF - Add highlighting capabilities with memory capabilities and color options

- To everyone saying "It doesn't work anymore!", make sure you enable "file://" access for viewing local PDF's. You can find this in the extension settings, under "Allow access to file URLs". Absolute banger of an extension, really useful and significantly enhances my personal research experience =)

- Pretty good extension! Could you consider adding a commenting feature? Additionally, when navigating away by clicking on an image or reference, it would be helpful to have a "back" function that returns the user to their previous reading position. This would greatly improve usability. Thank you!

- A very good PDF reader extension, especially when reading papers. I suggest adding a functionality, i.e., translating the selected text.

- extension *really* useful in research after a long time! (possibly after Google Scholar Button) AI outline may come in handy at some point (my mind's jury is out on that), but... key strengths for me: * click on a reference (e.g., number or FirstAuthor Year) and it brings up the full detail (title, authors, year, google scholar link) without going to ref section * click on figure reference, brings you to figure. click back button, brings you back * night mode (also relevant beside just reading if you make your presentations in black background - you can snip the figures in dark mode and paste into your presentation, which looks more professional than pasting a white-background figure)

- It's a wonderful idea and a time saver. However, the addition of a highlighter function would be great. Currently, it is easy to lose the page/paragraph you want to cite for later.
