- (2025-05-17) Mahmoud Mandour: I'm experiencing an issue where the audio consistently cuts out or stutters when using the extension for live captions — but only when my laptop is running on battery power. As soon as I plug in the charger, everything works perfectly. I'm using an HP laptop with Realtek audio drivers and Windows 11. Other audio and captioning tools work fine, even on battery. Is there any way to force the extension to run with full performance or prevent it from degrading in battery mode? Thanks for any guidance!
- (2025-05-16) Sebastian Florica: The text is moving as I try to read it. That is breaking UX standards, making it very hard to use. Append new text, to not have the text above it move at all, by replacing the vertical scroll with a horizontal paginator.

- (2025-04-23) S행복행운: I’m getting a browser error saying: “User gesture is required to play audio.” This happened after a recent update. Now I can still hear the audio from Discord in Chrome, but live translation isn’t working anymore. It seems like the browser needs a user interaction to enable audio access, and that’s breaking the translation function. Please let me know how to fix this. I used to listen to live English broadcasts on the Discord website through Chrome, and I was able to use a translator to hear the live translations. Everything was working fine before, but suddenly it stopped working. Now, I can still hear the audio, but the translator no longer works. I just want to listen to the live English broadcast on the Discord website and have it translated in real time through my translator like before. Please help me fix this.

- (2025-03-08) Rosemary: Really helpful! The accuracy of the translations is pretty satisfactory in my opinion. However, the formatting of the program can be improved. I wish I had the option to change the large window into a smaller bar of subtitles so the window is easier to position over videos. Overall, I recommend it!
- (2025-02-27) Going Hamilton: when translating from Japanese to english, the context is good enough to where you can gain a surface level understanding of what is being said. However, the program just sits on a blank screen 90 percent of the time. in ten launches, it only worked once after a few minutes. Additionally, if the window clips out of the browser in an awkward way, there is no way to reorient the window once its position has been saved. The only recourse here is to reinstall the extension. I've put a lot of effort into getting viitor to work but for me, it is simply unusable.

The photo translation feature is very convenient for shopping in duty-free stores and reading signs while using public transportation in foreign countries.
