  • (2020-12-03) Brian Damage: Utter shite. But then again, why would google allow anonymous browsing on a chrombook? How would they mine our data if we all started refusing to play by their rules.

  • (2019-10-04) Luke Cardoza (gigawasian): checked via ip leak test and tor website and both say it didnt work

  • (2017-11-22) Joseph Campolongo: I run this app in chromebook, and it works as a local proxy server to the tor network. It is the only option I could find to connect to the tor network from a chromebook.
  • (2017-11-18) aleksander strusinski: Lovelyyyy Status: working :) Thx. Keep up the good work.
  • (2017-08-11) Anton Derbenev: works as described. It's barely useful on Windows (you better run native tor.exe instead), but it's not the app' failure, and it's not advertised to magically convert Chrome to another Tor Browser.
  • (2017-06-22) Paul Berry: Doesn't work on my Chromebook

  • (2017-01-08) Valentin Tihomirov: I wonder, whom he is trying to cheat with reddit post? I clearly see that "errors are not fixed" in Chrome 55 and seem not going to be fixed. What is the alternative of Kronymous that we should migrate to?

  • (2016-09-22) Karl Belin: This was great when it worked, but something is broken now with the latest Chrome OS updates on the dev channel. If you aren't on the dev channel, get this app.
  • (2016-09-14) Bï999z Sr: Amazing! !VIVJOR!TOR!-fOR!-EVOR! • (2016-09-13) Scout Paget: Likes! I've been using this for a few days now and the performance is great - works really well with my VPN...no problems. Well done and thanks!
  • (2016-07-09) Frank Utne: I'm not sure exactly what this app offers over simply starting tor from the command line and switching to its profile with a proxy switcher extension. I wrote a detailed analysis of the app in the Support section and it was not only unanswered, it was deleted. That, despite high praise for the Help popup. Other than that this app is worthless. It has to be launched from this store page! There is no button or any other means to launch it. You have to make many clicks before it finally kicks in. Then there is no way to stop it except by closing its window.
  • (2016-06-21) Sompop Kulapalanont: Hi it's show as bootstrap 100% done But when i check it still show as i dont use tor and still get some of website blocked? any idea?
  • (2016-05-03) Otho Smith: It worked for the longest time but now it keeps freezing up when i push start... if you could fix that for school computers thanks =D
  • (2016-04-25) Олександр: 5+ Among with SwitchyOmega, this app is very handy.
  • (2016-04-19) Nexus Plasma: Error message: Apr 19 07:11:34.537 [err] Error from libevent: evsig_init: socketpair: Software caused connection abort
  • (2016-03-16) Vincent Winqvist: Easy to use, especially with the recommended proxy plugin.
  • (2016-03-12) Kyan Lee: easy to use and simple
  • (2016-02-29) Pandan Amin: Thank you
  • (2016-02-22) OBI ONE CANOBI: ace
  • (2016-02-21) Zach Lym: This plugin is dangerous: the Tor Browser Bundle comes with significant privacy enhancements. You can't just proxy an application through Tor, you have to really understand what the application is doing. The developer includes a disclaimer but it's simply not strong enough.
  • (2016-02-11) Hunter Callan: Good, but needs to be able to choose exit country.
  • (2016-02-05) Puranjay Jain: This is as easy as tor can get!
  • (2016-01-29) Jose Mendoza: Well its tor via nacl, which is supposed to be axed off but its an app that might actually be worth your time if you want to have a slight amount of privacy on a chromebook. I mean like the app says this is no replacement for torbrowser on a real computer but hey, its a way to run tor on a chromebook without having to install crouton. So you save time and its easy to use tor, even grandma can use it.
  • (2015-12-26) Fadi Zakout: exit nodes is still missing otherwise it works very well Any news when it will be available ?
  • (2015-12-18) Ronald Markus: Web anonymity is right for everyone and the best security solution period.
  • (2015-12-07) Adrian Łochowicz (Lord): is displayed Sorry, You are not using Tor
  • (2015-11-24) Lukas Pravda: Works like a charm. Combining with Tunnelswitch extension and custom PAC files. Really surprising what all can be achieved with Chrome App! Works equally great on Chromebook as well as Windows.
  • (2015-11-06) Stephan Caputa: Took some educating to understand how to use this system, but for a novice at computers it is easy to learn. Excellent support response time.
  • (2015-09-21) Kyle Graehl: Wow. This really works!
  • (2015-09-05) Loga prakash: Awesome and helpful
  • (2015-09-05) Lark Sky: How can I use obfs3 bridge ?
  • (2015-08-25) Jeff Ober: This appears to work. Setting up a socks5 proxy to use it on a chromebook works as expected. Thanks!
