Don't let X ruin your life. XCoach is a free Chrome Extension that helps you manage your time on X while on your laptop or desktop computer. Before you access X, XCoach intercepts the page and shows you your priorities, your usage stats, and requires you to commit to a timed session.
The intervention page offers:
* A reminder of your priorities (up to 5),
* Insight into how long you've spent on X today,
* A chart of your daily usage over time with a mean-duration reference line,
* The ability to start timed sessions (2–120 minutes), and
* A snooze feature for when you need a bit more time.
New in v3.0:
* "Post as @handle" button — always see which account will post
* Usage chart with daily visit duration history
* Data export to CSV
* Flexible data management (delete recent/oldest days, or total reset)
* Redesigned intervention page UI
The data XCoach stores is yours and yours alone; it uses Chrome sync storage synced to your Google account. The only way to contact me is through X (@BenOgorek) or by emailing Ben at [email protected].
XCoach uses a "content script" on X to show a warning bar one minute before your session ends and to allow snoozing. It is a very unintrusive addition to the X page that can be easily dismissed.
